The location and the place in general. The villa is within walking distance from town center , straight line you cam walk in less than 20 min. Also 2 supermarkets within 500 m or so plus the ones in town. Location also in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood, idilic natural scenary. The host mr and mrs were so nice and checking with us if we needed anything. The villa was very clean, warm despite de cold weather, cosy and confortable

The host was very nice, very warm welcome in the middle of the night & nice to talk with. The house is within easy reach of the airport and activities by car. The house is traditional and rooms are a bit old, but that didn’t bother us at all. The path around the corner of the house is perfect for a sleighride for the kids btw.

It's beautiful cozy log cabin. Very warm even on -25'C. Great location in a very quite estate about 20min walk from city center. Just what we wanted. The owners were very quick responding to any query we had. Can't fault anything. Would highly recommend coming with family.

Just a minor inconvenience - having a shower made also the surroundings of the toilet bowl wet. Also, a tiny bit too far from the center - 1,7km. Usually we walked to the center (it was mostly downhill) and took a taxi back.

Nice little cottage with kitchen/livingroom and separate bedroom, Grocery shop was nearby (450m). Warm and cosy. And having 2 double beds + sofa bed made it pretty convenient for a family.

Me and my wife had an awesome experience staying at Vill Virpi. Our host Risto was very kind and left no stone unturned for our comfortable stay. We really enjoyed talking to him as he made us aware of the area and local Finnish culture/tradition. The shared kitchen and dining area are big and a grocery store is just 300 m from the property (enroute to the city center).Villa Virpi is 20 mnts walk from Rovaneimi city center and was well in our budget. We highly recommend it.

We were given a free upgrade to the cabin at the back of the main house. It was gorgeous, cosy & warm. We could stay as long as we wanted after checkout which was great. Our host couldn't have been nicer or friendlier. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Gorgeous little spot

Everything was great.

The location was very approachable to airport, city centre. At the same time, we got the feeling of staying in a remote area. There is a supermarket nearby. We really enjoyed the place. It was warm although there was huge snow all around.

The place is such a dream. It's much more than " a stay", it's an experience!!! Much better than just been in a hotel room. Cozy place, heated, and comfy. The place is extremely clean, with all home facilities that anyone can need and they have sleds to the kids.

Villa Virpi has a comfortable location of 20 min walking distance from the city centre of Rovaniemi and Arktikum. The double room was well-lit, spacious, decorated in Scandinavian taste, and had a fridge, a kettle, a microwave, a TV and shared facilities (shower, WC) on the same level. Risto, the owner, was very supportive and caring, he offered transfers to the airport and to the city centre by car. Guests could also share the open plan kitchen downstairs. Villa Virpi gives a very cosy, relaxing feeling as a true home.
