Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

FinlandThe building from outside was very sketchy. Also, the lights outside of the apartment flickered throughout the night and the whole room light oup like it was violently lighting outside. In addittion it was a little too cold.
The apartment was very nice, it has everything you could need and everything was very clean. Finding the keys and getting in was easy and I really enjoyed my stay as a whole.

Czech RepublicThe place is about nothing. It looks like it is close to the lake according to the map, but there is no access to it from the accommodation. If you walk a bit further, all access to the lake is private, so you can't get there. The area looks like former accommodation for workers of a factory. There's nothing to do here. For a one night stay, if you arrive late, sleep over and leave in the morning, that's reasonable. Not for a multi-night holiday.
Reasonable accommodation for the asking price. The facilities are sufficient, you will find everything you need for a short stay. You have a great degree of privacy, you do not come into contact with the host.

GermanyThere is nobody at the location, you need to be familiar with coded door looks. You can get help by email or phone though.
Simple accommodation close to a lake and the town Ylöjärvi. Frequent buses to Ylöjärvi, from there it's another 20 min with bus 85. The name of the stop is Voionmaa Opisto. The guest house is it is a few hundred meters from that bus stop. It's a quiet location with no wifi, good if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

HungaryPlease to show the real condition, up to date pictures of the room, and of the building ...... May be this is a cheap place, the price shows the quality. Unfortunately this was not the best choice for me.
I looked into the room, and around the house. For me it was not a friendly area. After that i decided to sleep another place.
