Our stay at Wästinn was truly a unique and memorable experience. A beautiful slice of nature on the shore of a lake, charming cottages, very friendly and helpful hosts... We spent our Midsummer weekend at Wästinn and we are so glad we did. The place has a calming atmosphere and the surrounding nature is beautiful. Kristian's hospitality and Pang's eye for detail and cooking skills make this place a paradise for the heart, body, and soul. We had everything we needed and more. The two saunas and the beach are just the cherry on top of the cake. If you are looking for a weekend getaway in the area, this is it! Tack så mycket Kristian & Pang!

The nicest place I have been staying in Finland. An incredible location right at the water and so much love for the detail. Kristian and Pang are incredibly friendly and helpful and super fun people. The rooms are nicely renovated and very practical. The area at the beach is amazing too, with the sauna included in the price. Also, they made us the most awesome breakfast I could imagine! If you travel in the area, staying there for a night or more is a MUST!

It is a long drive off the beaten path to get here but it is totally worth it!

Kristian and Pang made our stay fantastic! They are so kind and helpful. The meals are delicious, fresh and beautiful. I recommend you add the dinner and the breakfast during your stay! The coffee is wonderful! Kristian told us about an awesome local hiking trail and taught us how to use the wood fired sauna. There are so many activities available at the property that we didn't even have time to do everything this time. The beach was gorgeous and a perfect place to stop and relax. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfy and the shower was wonderful. They try to source as much locally as possible. The rich history enhances the experience. Everything about Wästinn is AMAZING!

This is one of the most Western parts of continental Finland, it surprised us how far one had to drive before reaching the destination. Fortunately, the scenary is beautiful when driving through the different islands. Make sure to stock on food supplies before reaching Wästinn, the nearest grocery store Sale Maxmo is around 15km from the B&B. There is a little, common kitchen for guests with a fridge on the beach. Wästinn also sells toothbrushes and paste if you forgot to bring one.

What a gem in the Vasa archipelago! Wästinn is a cozy Bed & Breakfast with a nice, laid-back atmosphere, friendly hosts, delicious breakfast with local treats and a nice private beach with two saunas. Vasa and the Unesco World Heritage site Kvarken (Svedjehamnen) is worth visiting, while staying at Wästinn.

Location is great for people interested in bouldering on the beautiful locations of the west coast. The property has its own beach with a sauna! If you're travelling by car I'd choose this place any time over the tiny hotel rooms in the city.

Only rooms (cabins) with shared restroom were available when I booked. The yard was still a bit undone given the recent work that had been done to fix the beach. Will probably look better the next year.

Great place right by the sea shore. Cabins and small but tidy and comfortable. Sauna by the beach was a great bonus. Used the free bikes to tour around a bit. The breakfast was fantastic and definitely worth the extra cost.

All was wonderful.

Lovely owners and such a beautiful place kept with care. We stayed in the beach cabin, decor was cozy, there we towels to borrow and sauna available, beds were really comfy. All was there for relaxing evening. Breakfast was splendid!
