The kitchen is big and practical and there is everything you need! I just didn't like that there was no eating possibility in the main space, to socialise/look outside into the snow. The freezer was also crammed with stuff that had already been expired for over a year! The shared fridge also had things ib it that were (almost) expired. I'd suggest letting people write their date of departure on it and making a section in the fridge for giving away free food so that not as much food is wasted.

liked the unique interior! There weren't many other guests (only 2 hostel rooms) and it was really easy to meet other travellers :) Communication went smoothly and the place was close enough to the bus station/supermarket.

The host is INCREDIBLE! We stayed for four nights and it really felt like home, very cosy. All the facilities were cleaned everyday and Alisa wouldn’t even let us put away the dishes. 10/10 would recommend.

Dormitories being mixed - there were very few guests there at the time so they could have separated between the two rooms.

There is only one shared door key in the key box outside. The small box with the tiny key board was driving me mad every time I tried to get in. It is for someone with tiny fingers and good eyes:)

It is a lovely place in the center of the town, it is very cosy, feels like beeing at home, spotless clean, the kitchen is well equipped, there is enough space for everyone. There is only one bathroon and one toilet, which seemed to me not enough for 12 people, but during my 5 days stay there wasn´t any issue. It is a good place to come back to after spending the whole day outside in the cold. I have enjoyed the stay there.

It was way better than I expected. The hostel is SUPER clean, organized, well located… shower is warm and clean, bed linen and towels are clean. Free coffee and tea, fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it. I am a solo traveler that has been to more than 40 hostels, and this was 10/10.

As i just booked it a month ago the price were a little bit higher. but all and all good.

I had good time staying over here. The Lady in charge of the hostel has done very good job of maintaining it. when i booked first i thought it would be any everyday hostel but it was clean. good hygiene and well maintained. and also at a great location. The bus station for busses towards santa cluas village is just a stones throw away.

Super comfy and large couch, lots of pillows and power plugs EVERYWHERE, lovely decorating lights, working wifi, bathroom and shower always super clean, kitchen ready for everything and we didn't even had to do the dishes even if I wanted to help!

The hostel is right in the middle of the city, 3 minutes away by foot from a supermarket, and 10 minutes away from multiple tour offices. Alissa, the host, was incredible ! She is very helpful and gives plenty of informations about tours, the city, restaurants... As a solo traveler, it was great to meet people, I would definitely recommend it !

This was one of the best places I've stayed recently. This place has so much cool interior and cozy. So I just wanted to cancel my activities and just relax in there. The kitchen and bathroom are also very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Finland.

Everything was superb, however the price was in my opinion really high, considering the accommodation is a hostel with six-bed sleeping rooms - of course, since Rovaniemi is very touristic and the location is so great, I understand it to some extent but it was still rather much when being on a budget.

The hostel had an excellent location, amidst the city centre, so that this, the Arkticum museum and the Ounasvaara forest was within walking distance. The facility was clean and comfy, everything required was provided and the staff was there to help.

Alisa was very accommodating and approachable. The hostel is conveniently located in the center. It was kept clean. It also has a large kitchen with all facilities. Overall my stay was memorable. If you are looking for a hostel, then I would recommend it.

There wasn't much I didn't like about it. Maybe at most, I'd ask they re-stock the kitchen more regularly, because towards the end of our stay, they were running out of things? And the beds are a little thin, but they're still fairly comfortable.

First, it's really cozy, personally decorated. But also, it was so CLEAN!!! The restroom was regularly cleaned and re-stocked, as was the kitchen space. The convenience of the kitchen supplies saved a lot of money on food in the morning, and the clean toilet is always welcome. The hostel was also really well taken care of, and the guests were also very chill. Not to mention, it was so WARM! And in the -30 degree Celsius temperature, the warmth was so very welcome. Even the floors were warm. The location was also super convenient, only a 12 minute walk to the city center, and about 5 minutes from a small grocery store where we could pick up snacks. If you were heading to Santa Clause Village, there was a bus stop not even five minutes away.

Space decorated with great taste. Clean rooms, as in the photos I had seen before booking. The hostel is 15 minutes on foot from the train station, 3 minutes from the No8 bus stop that takes you to Santa Claus village and 5 minutes from the center (Lordi square). The girl who worked at the hostel very kind and willing to inform you about moving around the city, activities that need a reservation (northern lights hunting, visiting a reindeer or husky farm)
