Perfect and paradise location. Spacious dorm. The resort is located in garden. By the sea. There are swings, sun chairs, great common area. Really peaceful and quiet. They organize activities.

The ocean is very shallow, one can barely swim there at high tide. Unfortunately, we had 5 full days of rain and some of our clothes started molding. WiFi is so so.

I would have loved to have had a small fridge and a kettle in the room, there are no TV's in the rooms and that was off-putting at first but I soon learned I could do without it. Sometimes the service was a little slow, but I guess that's just fiji time. The bed was a little hard for me, and only a few lights worked.

I loved this resort, it was beautiful and a fun place to stay, I was sad to leave. There was always something to do but also if you wanted to do nothing you could plop yourself in a hammock with a book and just let time drift by. I loved the outdoor showers, the pool is beautiful and the grounds and facilities are kept so nice. Things are planned well here, heaps of tours and activities to choose from, meals were really enjoyable and staff are great and very helpful. There is a bus stop just out the front and a lovely coffee shop where you can buy gifts on the grounds. Wifi in the common area helps people gather to socialise and it feels like a family after a while. Would 100% come back. Westside transfers who the resort recommends were also fabulous, I felt really safe in the hands of my driver.

Rooms are not equipped properly; there is a table but no chairs; no glasses for drinking water, cups..Rooms are not cleaned (at least in 2-3 days)..

I think that the rooms should be cleaned daily at least. Especially during the wet season when people accidentally walk in things from outside. And guests should be given new towels daily. I stayed for 6 nights and by the end was annoyed at the mess of the room.

I loved the relaxed vibe of the place. Really gorgeous property. Very relaxing. The daily dinners at the restaurant was some of the best food I’ve eaten. Really amazing

I was pretty happy with the place, I visited another resort and sure the place was fancy and bigger but, it wasn't as friendly and fun and it was over priced. My family and I missed the people at Beachhouse and seeing the other kids running around so we went back.

I stayed at Beachhouse with my son,  brother, his partner and their three boys. We all loved it! What stood out most was the atmosphere and the fantastic staff. They were all lovely, easy going, and fun to be around with, but most of all Duxton. You were amazing with the kids and are a genuine fun person to be around. You taught me to be brave in the water and were great with the kids, and our family as a whole. I found it hard to say goodbye and my son says he will miss you too. I hope to visit again. Thank you to all the staff at Beachhouse and for all the wonderful memories.

Set in beautiful gardens and upon the beach, Beachhouse Resort was a lovely place to spend a couple of days relaxing and as a base for exploring. Amazing staff, great food and bar, a variety of people coming to stay, as well as plenty of opportunities for exploring Fiji’s coral coast.

The dinner both myself and my partner got was very average. I ordered steak rare and it came out extremely well done and barely able to cut it with a knife I exchanged it for a new one and it wasn't much better. My partner got the bolognaise which lacked any taste unfortunately.

Room was lovely and the outdoor shower was an added bonus. The hammocks were super comfy on the beach front. Nice bar and cheap cocktails.

Ensure you bring enough cash to do the listed excursions. If you don’t have enough the closest ATM is 12km and a friend got charged $50FJD just for the ride there.

The food was a little expensive and there was no option to make/ cook your own food there as a backpacker. Sometimes a little difficult to find out what activities were going on or not

Amazing property, i stayed in the dorm which was spacious and clean. It was right on the beach and so beautiful lots of seating and hammocks. Plenty of tours to get involved in and surf lessons

The actual staff working here seemed fairly apathetic. They weren't unfriendly but also not overly helpful or friendly. When asked several times about various activities or things to do, we were just told to "consult the board". When we landed on some activities we wanted to do, most of the events weren't even happening and we were told "not today, maybe tomorrow". It was incredibly wishy washy to get anyone to commit to any activity and we organized an island visit ourselves by recruiting 5 other people and telling the resort that 7 of us wanted to go to visit the island. The price also varied wildly for everyone on the trip. These should be posted on the activity board along with the itinerary. The food was also really disappointing and you are fairly locked in to eating at the resort as there are no other options nearby. It's not terrible, but not good by any stretch and could be improved significantly.

The resort was in an excellent spot for beautiful tropical beach access. The water was crystal clear, the beach was a long one for walking and the water was shallow a long way out so you could swim for hundreds of feet. A little raft in the ocean also made for a good lounging spot. The resort had access to kayaks and snorkels, which was awesome. The resort grounds also had lots and lots of hammocks, chairs, tables and other areas to hang out all day long. We really enjoyed that aspect and spent most of our time lounging on one spot or another. Meeting people here was also extremely easy with lots of solo and couple travelers open to chatting and having dinner together. The owner and a few of his pals (we're not sure whether they worked there or not) were also very friendly and welcoming. They had lots of good tips for things to do in Fiji and were happy to have a chat.
