Resort Administration/system poor. Incorrect issue of meal tickets. Had to advise desk staff 3 times that our account had been charged for a cocktail we did not order before it was removed.

Room was modern and comfy for our family of 4. We enjoyed the protected beach and ocean swim. The hop on hop off bula bus and buggies for transporting around the facility was great. Enjoyed the adults only infinity pool/spa, gym and lagoon lounge and free activities eg hike, hat making etc Restaurant breakfast buffet & dinner offered a good variety, Friendly staff

We didn’t know about the outlets needing an adapter for our cell phone. But the staff provided us with one for our stay!

The isolation didn't bother us - we knew that going in. But of course, that limited what food you could access. I think Marriott could work on improving the quality of food at the resort, particularly for the prices charged. The service was variable - I'd order a coffee at breakfast and get an eye roll and get the wrong coffee. Those little things can leave a bad taste. I found staff (Ski, Surf Dive and Rosie's) weren't willing to find creative solutions when I asked if we could find snorkeling options - I was met with shrugs and told it was too hard with a child. I found when I went to Bali that staff were willing to work with your current circumstances, but in this instance staff weren't willing to find packages outside what was in the brochure so I found that perplexing. For a 5 star hotel, this is a significant area for improvement.

We stayed at a lagoon bure and it was perfect for us, we could go swimming in the lagoon and lounge on our balcony in the late afternoon and evenings. I can't fault the accommodation - the bathroom was stunning, the room was extremely spacious and the patio area was our favourite. The beds were comfortable and we had a rollaway bed for our small daughter. We would like to acknowledge Rini who cared for daughter in the evening and looked after her at Kids Club. Her husband Ronny took us to and from the airport and was great.

Some of the food purchased did taste up to the price paid. The pool wasn’t as private and sectioned as our stay at double tree which has a lovely pool.

The check in staff was very responsive prior to our arrival, however we are still battling with this resort and Marriott regarding our final charges. I'm not talking incidentals - they are arguing that they never charged us for one night of one bungalow...but clearly this is easily proven by the confirmation from Booking.com And, don't call there unless you have an international plan TO Fiji. I spent $120 as I was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes with no resolution. This was two months ago, and since I didn't book through Marriott, I am stuck dealing with this. In addition, the all inclusive package is limiting, but worth it, as I feel it is always worth it for a beach/tropical vacation. Breakfast is the best meal of the day, so don't miss it!

We loved the over water "bungalows" and felt like this was an amazing way to enjoy the resort. The bridge/walkway to get to the bungalows is extremely slippery when it rains...even in rubber sole shoes or barefoot!

The Breaky was delightful breakfast with a buffet-style setup, offering a wide range of delicious selections and attentive service . The dinner experience was truly amazing, with both the fish bar and goji bar delivering exceptional food, accompanied by great music and top-notch service. It was a memorable evening !

Some days were a bit short staffed at the Adults pool area, some wait times. The card system for signing off on the dinner package was a little annoying, sometimes we forgot to use and sometimes the restaurant forgot to signoff. The Marriot needs to move to the QR code ordering based system to overcome these service issues.

The views and landscapes were beautiful, lovely rooms that were very private and well appointed. The resort layout was well suited to those seeking privacy but also for families with large separations between standalone bure's and apartment style rooms near the family pool. The Adults Pool and Fish Bar were exceptional for location/views/sunsets and enjoyment. Staff were very friendly and focused on meeting guest requests. Buffet breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard and exceeded expectation for quality and variety. Great service.

Only downside of the resort is that it has a lagoon rather than a nice beach. We were told it was safe to swim in the lagoon and others were doing it but the water wasn't very inviting. Written communication wasn't the best ahead of arrival. It wasn't possible to get menus and prices ahead of arrival to help us decide on whether to go for all inclusive or not. Once you're there, staff are great.

Fantastic resort, staff could not have been more welcoming. Our flight arrived at 7am and we were feeling quite unwell. We called ahead from the airport and were very grateful they arranged for our room to be available as soon as we got there. After a long and uncomfortable flight we felt welcome and in good care thanks to the excellent staff. It was rare to find a resort where service is consistently good across front desk, house keeping, pool area and maintenance.

The hotel was so amazingly well maintained and beautiful. There for our 50th wedding anniversary and we’re totally spoilt with true Fijian love where ever we went!! ♥️ Merelula in reception was totally amazing organising everything to make our special day perfect 🤩
