Snorkelling: beaware if you are snorkelling enthusiastic this is an island pretty close to the main one, don't expect too much to see (fish yes but the coral was pretty regular) Food: some days good some days a bit tasteless Number of guest: considering there are domitries onsite plus they accomadate to day tour guest, big crowds could turn up.

Staff: friendly, helpful, and talented! Beach: seawater was clear enough you could see fish swimming in it. Night view was magnificant with starry sky and gorgerous sunset. Activity: Free snorkelling, free kayaking, along with plenty of other stuff to do (mud crab cooking and tatsing, weaving, etc). Awsome firedancing and fire walking performance, real memorable. Live music at dinners. Accommodation: nice bungalow with clean linen, bowl with water for rinsing feet before entering, sockets by bedside.

The mattress was soft foam which wasn’t supportive and compressed as you lay on it so you could feel the base underneath and made it a little uncomfortable to sleep, particularly if you already have a bad back as offers no support

Fantastic location, excellent staff, absolutely beautiful and lots of activities included during the stay. Had a wonderful time :)

Some of the facilities like Stand Up Paddle Boards were not available which was really disappointing. Also there is vegetarian food available but very limited in variety.

Staff is very friendly. Marie at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. Remaining staff were really good and were fun to have around. They even helped us in finding our lost phone.

The food was good, but after 5 days it lacked variety. The snorkelling was marred by poor visibility so this is not an ideal location if this is a priority.

It fulfils the desert island idyll - palm-fringed sandy beaches, with warm sea. The entertainment was of a very high standard & you could take part in activities or just laze as you liked.

Getting to the island was a bit tricky, only option to book via resort and we think the price for the car from/to the airport to the jetty and the boat ride of 50€ per person/per direction expensive (but negotiable) or you manage to find another driver on your own. For the price it is a great resort but calculate the extra costs in your daily rate which is shown on booking.com. There is extra 45€ per Person/night for Food and 100€ Transportation per Head. The complimentary program will be repetitive after a few days but there is a selection of chargeable activities too where you have to leave the Island. We recommend staying maybe 4-5 days. Also Plan minimum 2,5 hours travel time to the airport as in our case someone came late and then the boat broke and we got stuck in traffic (but we caught the flight anyway)

Great, small island for the whole resort. We had the beach bungalows, which was great because of the AC, the big space and the private bathroom. The beach is amazing, easy to get in and great for swimming. As a guest on the island we had access to all of the program, which is was so much fun. We were able to do everything and even though it was low season and not many guests around, the staff pulled through the program like Island Games and Karaoke. A big applause to the staff, who did everything on the island: maintaining the resort, cooking and performing. Definite highlights were the fire-shows and the island itself.

The mattresses! Owners.. please do something! We would LOVE to return, but just cannot with those mattresses. Too much seaweed to snorkel off the island, but they take guests out beyond the reef for snorkeling every day.

The staff were great. We felt welcomed by the singers welcoming us at the beach. The fresh fruit was great, good cottage pie. Snorkeling off the boat was good. Foot washing basins were brilliant. Nice activities, dancing, singing, fire walking, games etc

The food was very average. And since you no there option you have to eat there. Also the meal package is a bit annoying and causes misunderstandings. When I arrived they told me that I have to pay extra for breakfast lunch and dinner. I asked them if it's possible to pay only breakfast and dinner but they insisted they I have to pay all the 3 meals. However one day that I had to make a tour out of the island and I missed the lunch they told me that this will be deducted from the final bill. The place has many potentials but some of the hotel facilities are a bit old for the price that you pay!

Excellent location and the feeling that you are completely remote "like shipwrecked". The beach is very good with clean calm waters.

The island has day visitors and evening visitors, when this happens meal times get very busy! Hotel guests should be prioritised front seating for the dinner and show. We stayed for 4 nights and the food is very repetitive. Also our room was never cleaned in the 4 days which left it very sandy. On the first day they tried to clean but my kids were napping but they never tried after that. Also my husband left his flip flops in the communal area on NYE night and the next morning they were nowhere to be found. The staff weren’t particularly helpful and we think they were taken and kept by someone. Annoying as the flip flops are size 15 and are not easy to purchase and we are on a 5 month trip and need them. Also the food package as well as transfers leads to the cost being almost double that of the accommodation - so it’s not a cheap stay.

The location is amazing and our bungalow had ocean views. The shows were great, lovely dancing and fire shows.

The rooms weren't cleaned daily as you would expect from a resort. When the show was on, over 100 people came from the mainland for dinner and the show. There was basically nothing left for dinner as we patiently waited till this large crowd got their food. I feel that those of us paying a large amount to stay at the resort and for our meal package should have been allowed to get food prior to this large group, or at least informed of what was happening, so we could line up first. . $12 for kids milkshakes were expensive, especially when served in small martini glasses. The horse riding which cost us $450 for 5 of us for 30 minutes was definitely not worth it. The boat takes you over at 9am, horse riding was done by 10am, and we had to wait till 2pm to get the boat back to the resort. The boat was late, so we got back at 3pm, and missed snorkeling which was at 2:15pm. So a waste of a day really. If we knew all this, we wouldn't have done it. Friday is a rest day at the resort for staff, so we couldn't do much, e.g no Massages, no snorkeling, limited activities, so it was a bit boring. The 2 activities offered were 1. fish driving, we asked what it was: catching fish in a net. We were told it was catch and release, but it wasn't, so i had a few sad children watching fish die. 2. Toffee making- there was no making that we got to see, only tasting. So a few disappointed tourists that were all expecting to learn how to make fijian toffee. Life vests were only adult size L and XL, which drowned the kids when they went canoeing.

Lovely rooms with a/c and tea/ coffee making facilities Nice outdoor showers, with ubundant wildlife including crabs and toads which the kids really loved. Clothes line was really handy. Nice verandas with deck chairs and hamocks. 2 x big bottles of water were complimentary in the room Massages $60 for 1 hr full body massage, was so relaxing. The fire dancing show was incredible The buffet style meals were nice, and there were always vegetarian options. The pool was lovely for the kids. The kids also loved the canoes. We loved the friendly island cat. Margarita the general manager was very welcoming. My husband loved bacon and eggs for breakfast.

The fact you have to pay ridiculous amount for the boat transfer and the food plan is very overpriced for how basic the food is. It was extremely disappointing. Sadly I booked without knowing about the food plan and couldn’t get a refund so had to stick at it. Also when trying to check out we were waiting for 15/20 minutes whilst the reception staff was doing something for a guest over the phone and either after the phone call ended we were still waiting. But surly priority should be current guest waiting to check out as we had our boat back to mainland.

It being a private island. Peaceful. Lovely to relax on the beach. The milkshakes were very good. Loads of pretty fish when snorkelling. The Fijian culture dance was very good on Saturday night.

The island was a stunning spot for a relaxing holiday. The staff were absolutely delightful , there were lots of fun activities throughout the day, hammocks everywhere, and delicious cocktails at the bar. The food was great (and abundant) and my bed was comfy. The Garden Bure was simple but fine., and had a great ceiling fan. The Beachfront Bures looked like the better option tho! Would definitely return again!

All of them are cleaners, fishermen, boat drivers, cookers, masters of ceremonies, bar women and men, music players, artists, handy men and women, dancers .....................more and more and more.
