Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandI would love to stay on the island again for longer but would enjoy not having to pay so much for boat crossing to main island if wanting time to explore Nadi.
The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and courteous. Nothing was a problem for them and they work so very hard to accommodate guests. If its relaxation you are after I would highly recommend. The massage lady is very good.

United Statessince I stayed 5days it was a little repetitive the routine, but it was nice anyway. good starting point for discovering the surroundings!
super nice staff and amazing nature experience. Free kayaks on the beach and warm water. If you don't like to have an open door experience I would not recommend...rooms were ok, but showers or the complete toilette is with an open roof. If you are ok with that, it is a very special experience! i personally liked it (bring some insect repellant spray) Food is not very vegetarian or vegan oriented. If you don't want to stay more than one night, they do day trips...worth a visit!

New Zealandnothing. was what we expected for the price and from what we’d learned online.
An awesome experience for our children immersed with the Fijian people doing the daily cultural shows. very relaxing but also enough to do when you want to. Cool with the various groups of people visiting the island for the day and evening shows

New ZealandFood very average and had to pay for, even if you didn't have a meal (I didn't have anything to eat 1 day because I was unwell, but still had to pay for meals I didn't have). Turned into an expensive holiday with all the extras eg compulsory meals $103, transfers to and from another location and ferry $102 return (even though I didnt get picked up and had to get taxi @ $95), village trip @ $25, snorkeling from boat @ $25 etc. Several things listed in booking details weren't there eg tea, coffee or kettle in room, paddle boats, etc, outdoor furniture at room and on beach very shabby and needed replacing, I appreciate the impact covid will have had on the Fijian tourism industry, but maintenance work could have continued throughout this time for not much cost. Everything was very shabby
Staff amazing Location incredible Fire shows out of this world Interesting optional free extra activities - medicine walk, weaving, cooking and dancing lessons, General manager took me to airport because she was going that way and it saved me an $80 taxi ride.

AustraliaI didn't like the fact that there were hidden costs. You had to get their food package because it was all there was on offer, but it was the way booking.com advertises it that doesn't make it clear. I would have still paid now knowing how great the experience was.
The staff make the experience without them it wouldn't be the same. The food was amazing. Everything was real authentic and culturally driven. So all round a great experience

United KingdomYes the food package price is expensive for what it is (and no, it is not in line with the rest of Fiji as I read on other reviews) BUT, if it contributes to them paying their amazing staff a good wage then it is money well spent. Also, be aware that it is 26$ pp, per way for the bus AND 51$ pp, per way for the boat. Once you have all that info then you're good to go !
The staff there are absolutely amazing ! They go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is having a good time. The main show they put on 3 times a week is spectacular and worth watching even if you can only manage to come for a day trip. The island itself is beautiful and not too far from mainland or Nadi, so it minimises travel time.

New Zealandit was reasonably expensive and the food was basic but definitely eatable lots of salads, bread, bbq. One night we had Indian and another pizza chips and salad.
Right on the beach front and very relaxing. great place to get back to nature and enjoy the beautiful warm sea and the beach. There were also lots of activities often based around culture and unlike some of the bigger islands you felt like you were part of the village there. Staff took time to talk to you and tell you about this lives and invite you to kava ceremonies. Tours run to the island daily and there is an amazing cultural show every couple days with underground cooking, fire walking, singing, dancing etc.

New ZealandPeople may like a clear summary of all costs if they're traveling on a budget prior to booking. Compulsory food fee and transfer :) All in all, great experience, cannot fault.
The staff, show, activities, other guests and food were all amazing! The accommodation is dated, but its represented in the price which you pay. Food is a set amount separate to the room rate (about 100FJ/per day), I personally really enjoyed the buffet style set up. The food is hearty and goes along way. Frequent daily activities are included in the room rate which both adults and kids can do. Likuri was one of my highlights of my trip with the best performances I had seen in Fiji :) 100% would come again, but for longer!

New ZealandWebsite outdated, understand since Covid they are picking up again but no paddle boards, bike things shown on website, snorkeling only if you went out on the boat when a trip was there. Just some kyaks and some broken paddles which were just about useable. If you stay there when there is not a day trip there you are left to it, no activities or "fake activities" put on the board. Seemed we were not really cared about because we were not there on their "amazing days" Mon/Wed/Sat Think it ended up being just as pricey as staying at an island in the Yasawas once you pay $101 for food pppd and the $101 pppd return boat. Probably would not go back.
Food was great(apart from the breakfast) which we were not fussed as ate a lot since in Fiji, the staff were exceptional and our upgrade option for an extra 50 a night was very much appreciated. We got chatting to the manager and she was very helpful, honest and lovely. Great massage too and very fairly priced.

Great staff, they each carry out lots of different roles. Your boatman could also be the gardener and the fire dancer at night. They were friendly and helpful without exception.I hope they are well looked after. Comfortable Bure, no air con but they have a good fan and the design gives good airflow and they are shaded by palms. Safe beach right on front of the resort
