Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Australia2 hours out of Nadi so a lot of travel time if you want to do something in the main area of the island

New ZealandVery difficult to get towels for the room. Was hit and miss as to what towels we'd get each day. Difficult to get bath mats, hand towels, face cloths. Had to keep asking and by the final day I had one towel for the three of us. Air conditioning unit makes the floors very slippery if you don't have it cold enough/leave your balcony door open. Great to have a babysitting service, but the babysitters weren't that friendly or interested.
Staff were amazing and a great family friendly resort. Buffet was a bit the same after a couple of days, but food off the menu was excellent. Can recommend the chicken curry! Lots to do, pool amazing.

New ZealandLack of options for.kids dining when eating at the buffet. As adult enjoyed most nights but young children needed more variety.
Friendliness of the staff. Always willing to help. How relaxed it was. Especially the island was a nice place to go to late afternoon.

AustraliaThere where lots of little things that didnt sit well with me. The Naviti needs to replace its drinking water station. It was continually leaking and it is not good enough to place a sign there saying make sure you close the leaver properly, upgrade to something better and safer as water was leaking all over the floor and wasnt mopped up a lot of the time. Not completely happy with the food. We didnt buy into the package and i just felt not a great deal of variety off the menu i also felt i was arriving there around 8am and a lot of the plates were already 3/4 empty these should be topped up continuously not when breakfast is nearly over. The ceral dispensers where clogging up. No salt at our table and when we asked the staff when and searched on other tables. Found a lot of the hot food overcooked especially the bacon. Egg station was good. I ordered chicken ceasar salad quite a few nights and it came with a cold egg, i specifically requested cooked warm egg and again cold egg, waitress went to get it redone and never returned. Another thing that got under my skin was that we were not able to pay for our food or drinks individually, apparently the eftpos wasnt working and was all booked to the room. We had Fiji cash we wanted to use and it was not the go. I found your cocktails were very expensive and service at the pool bar very slow..... Ice cream bar at the Pool was not very inviting when half the flavours were practically empty was not inviting to the eye and once again took so long to get served i walked away. Understand that is not the restaurant but still part of the Naviti. I really believe you need to possibly hire chefs that understand the style of cooking for your particular travellers. Our friends bought the package and struggled most nights to enjoy their food. Naviti you need to spend money to make money. The staff cant carry your shortfalls.
I liked where the eating area was situated, a beautiful outlook while eating and it was nice to listen to the small band of men serenading us while eating. The experience overall was pleasant and the staff really tried hard to meet all your needs

FijiThe breakfast menu had limited option and was repeated daily (no variation if you are planning a longer stay). No many activities to do if the weather is not favourable.
The hotel's location is great with good secure environment. The resort had decent facility for family to enjoy short vacation. The room was comfortable and conveniently located near the pool. The staff were very friendly.

United KingdomThe feeling of being taken advantage of because we hadn't realised that there were no realistic choices. I paid a lot of money to play your very small golf course . The course was in terrible state and should not sell itself by saying the course was beautifully manicured.

AustraliaThe food was a bit ordinary. If you didn’t eat at the buffet the grill menu was on the bland side. We had one person with coeliac and they struggled a bit more. Cross contamination was a real concern especially at the buffet and with people using the gluten free toaster for regular toast every day. The recent changes to having kids eat separately and at a specific time make it tricky to eat as a family unless you want to eat early. It’s a resort that’s perfect for families but this also means that it’s often loud and with only one pool, it’s hard to escape the noise especially in the morning.
The pool is lovely and big enough for everyone. The beach near the village is clear and perfect for snorkeling. Staff are amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms are a good size, if a little tired in patches. Grounds are immaculate.

AustraliaThere is no milk provided, only sachet creamers. The breakfast is same old same old, pool towels needs to be returned by 6pm. A lot of drunks tourists, in the same pool as kids. There should be a separate children’s pool for safety of everyone. Tourist smoking/ vaping everywhere. Service a bit slow as well. Water activities were not part of the hotel service, you have to pay them separate but this doesn’t get advised on the time of booking. Overall, hotel seemed a bit tired, needs a bit of a uplif, but was ok for the price paid.
Definitely the location, best sunsets, perfect for snorkelling, kayaking and other water activities. 98% of the patrons were super friendly.

AustraliaEverything was on a time limit. The gym was only open from 7am. We could only use the water sports for an hour in the early morning or an hour in the late afternoon. The restaurants were only open between certain hours meaning if your kids get hungry outside of these hours you better find food elsewhere. The cleaning and respect of do not disturb did not meet expectations. They would come into the room to clean in the late afternoon and would often forget to bring the new towels. My son sleeps in the afternoon for 3 hours so I put a do not disturb sign on the door. They would knock and try to gain entry even with the do not disturb sign up and then they would ring the room phone if they couldn’t get in. It was so disappointing. And when they cleaned the room they forgot to put pillowcases on the pillows, took the wet towels and didn’t bring new dry ones, and left the room stinking like bleach. The noise was an issue. I requested a quiet room. They have a party with music every night from 8:30-11pm. The music itself isn’t that loud but the party host talking into the mic and the bass is extremely loud. The first night I was almost in tears because I had no idea it would be so bad. It sounds like you’re sleeping next to a rave party. When you have kids that need sleep it’s not ideal. The staff were hot and cold. Some of the staff were so deeply confused when it came to what they wanted to charge us for. Often coming up to us with multiple charges for kids when kids are meant to eat free. It was all so confusing and it’s definitely something they need to work on. They told me that kids could eat free in any of the restaurants and then told a lady next to me that they could only eat in the kids area for dinner and made her kids cry because they didn’t want to eat the fried food and plain pasta that is served to kids. One lady even yelled at me saying don’t take your drink by the pool even though I was sitting in the restaurant not at the pool.
The staff would often greet you with a friendly bulla. There were a lot of activities and a daily schedule for adults and kids to participate in.
