Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fiji2 broken dining chairs in the common room so cant eat at the table.
Staff were good and easy to talk to. Homestay is close to airport and also near to Nadi Town or shopping. Security guard allows you to access the gate at anytime of the night. I got a room with shared common area. My room was good. Very good air-conditioning.

New ZealandHelping carrying luggage in for travellerss. Didn't offer any at all. Staff member was supposed to call us a taxi but he wasn't even communicating it well to us while waiting for a taxi. Poor communication
room was good and clear. Staff wasn't much helpful in terms of helping carrying luggage compared to other accommodations I've stayed in around Nadi.

We werenʻt aware that the lounge/kitchen was a sharing/public area so we were upset that the night security just came in unannounced and drank our water bottle. We could only reach the wifi outside our room at the dining area
Breaskfast was ok. Location was ok too, close to the airport and at least one convenient store was nearby.

New Zealandit wasnt advertised that we had to go to another location which did not have any signs. so our room was not onsite and we had to travel to another location. the ac wasnt working and it was hard to get the repair man and we stayed there for 2 nights. the lady was like oh you have to get cash to pay and when i went to get cash i found out that my card had already been charged without me knowing and i was stressing about looking for cash and atms. i had ask for tea facilities and for iron. there was hardly anybody on site to help out which was another stress and i just couldnt walk as there were so many stray dogs (scary situation at one time when i had to go out of the hotel to meet up with family)

AustraliaThe owners tried to over charge card! When questioned, blamed Booking.com for the error and requested Cash. What’s quoted on the invoice is what is meant to charged. Tried to charge $100 Fiji dollars. Very Annoyed!

Convenient for Nadi airport. It was excellent value for money. We had dinner there and the freshly cooked curry was lovely, the breakfast omelette was delicious too.

United KingdomPayed them to take us to the port denerau which was expensive compared to other options. As our taxi didn't turn up it was the only option we had so had to go with them.
Perfect for a short stay close to the airport. Basic accommodation but all we needed. Nice hot shower. All appeared clean. Restaurant on site we had the most delicious freshly made Indian curry which was good for us as vegetarians.
