Proximity to the airport was good, although nothing is too far in the faroe islands. Room was just fine and clean. Self check-in process was nice and easy if you read the signs.

We left before the breakfast began in the morning. It would be nice to offer a small take away bag for guests who pay for the breakfast, but aren’t able to enjoy it.

The location of Hotel Vagar can’t be beat for an early morning flight out of the Faroe Islands! It’s a very simple hotel, no reception, no restaurant or bar, but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

They were having problems with their electronic key system. The WiFi doesn't reach the quiet rooms on the lower level.

The Hotel is right next to the airport which makes it really convenient when you arrive.

We liked that it’s very close to the airport, only 3-5 minutes by car. They don’t have reception area, but it’s nice that it’s self-service check-in because we arrived late in the evening. But they are available anytime. They also have a decent breakfast. The location is also practical, since it’s close to some of the main tourist destinations.

There is no reception and the check-in is done via an iPad. We had to contact the staff via a speaker since we did not receive the code, but they were very helpful. No restaurant or vending machines to buy a drink or something. The hotel looks a bit old.

The room was big and clean. The location of the hotel is very convenient for an early flight. The restaurant area was very quiet to chill out.

Hotel doesn't have lunch/dinner options, so be prepared to walk/drive to the city. Moreover, it is not possible to check in before 14, so if you do not have other options to leave your luggage, it might be inconvenient.

It was a perfect location next to airport for the early flight. Possible to walk till the lake/use the boat tour, which is possible to book. City is 2 km away.

Self check-in did not work, didn't receive an email with the door code. When we used the help bell / phone we got the code straight away from somebody sitting somewhere else (Torshavn?) - but hey, you don't shout it out in the reception areas via a loud speaker with other people waiting right behind us. In theory, lots of people could have entered our room! One other thing as a feedback: a tiny sink in the bathroom with a shelf directly over it makes washing your face and brushing your teeth difficult without banging your head.

Practical location for early departure flight with a 5 min walk to the airport entrance. Beds were comfy, great water pressure in the shower and breakfast was ok - just a little bit earlier would have been nice to catch the early morning flight.

We needed to leave for the airport early. It was quite unfortunate that breakfast is not open for people catching the first flight to Copenhagen. Even more unfortunate that I payed for it.

Nice big room and a nice quiet hotel. Close to the airport and a clean tidy room.
