The breakfast was certainly lacking - especially for the cost.

The hotel and room were very quaint

Was given a different room than the one booked but it’s fine as I would have preferred 2 beds rather than the suite with a sofa bed. The bathroom is newly refurbished but drainage is a bit slow for water to flow out. Parking is chargeable but you are also not able to leave your car on the property between certain hours so it may be better to park on the public street just about 50m away.

Great property in the middle of the village, location is spot on. The interior of the rooms are very homely and there is a lot of decorations of roosters and chickens! Overall an enjoyable stay.

Very friendly staff. Goldmine for first rate addresses for wineries, cheese producers and interesting tourist information. Rooms have been refurbished and are very clean. Very quiet.

Breakfast in the morning could have more cold cuts options ( were in Alsace!) the ham was not to fresh by the way and I understand you want to keep your payroll low and that’s why there’s only one employee working restaurant and reception but, you can help your personnel by: you need then to refill the breakfast area better ( bigger coffee pot, milk pot, juice, put enough sugar, put salt and pepper in all the tables, enough butter and different marrmelades) for 14 euros you can do much better and still make a profit out of it. You do everything very well, its a beautiful nice little very cozy place and to my eyes you diminish the experience on the last thing your guest are doing in your hotel. Also lady running the breakfast and reception could be a little more enthusiastic when saying goodbye. I work in hospitality also and the first and last impressions are very important.

Location, charm, clean, amenities overall a great stay

Our room was far smaller than any of those in the photos. It was warm and stuffy and had only a single window for ventilation, not the double and triple windows shown.

Nice quiet location. Friendly staff. The restaurant next door was incredible.

The elevator was out of order. The stairs are very steep and shallow making them quite arduous to negotiate with even the smallest bit of luggage

Perfect, quiet location inside the town walls. Private parking a short walk away. The was recently updated and nicely decorated. Spotless bathroom.

The steps up to the room from the hallway and down into the bathroom. Also, the dated bathroom smelled, but a candle remedied the situation. Additionally, it would have been good to know ahead of time to park outside the wall and walk to the hotel.

Just a bit off of the central street of Riquewihr. It is not accessible by car, however. Park at the lot just outside the entry to the town by the post office. It’s about a 3 minute walk. The streets are cobblestone so we only took our overnight bags to the room. It is a building from 1577. The room (I think #5) was charming. It was up a couple of steps up from the hallway and our bathroom was a couple of steps down from the bedroom, which was unique. The receptionist was very nice. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The lift was out of order. We had advised our arrival time and were told we had been allocated a room in the 2nd floor which we had accepted. However when we arrived we were given a room in the eaves on the top 3rd floor. That was very bad practice.

    Location and car parking.

Due to the age of the property there was no air conditioning but just a fan. The decor was quite gloomy and the bathroom had an unpleasant drain smell but was clean and modern.

Old fashioned charm right in the centre of town. Staff were so friendly and helpful, providing two single quilts instead of one when asked. Good value.

Stylish hotel right in the city center. We stayed in the adjoining building in a Suite even though we had paid for a standard room. The breakfasts were varied and very good and very nice breakfast place . The room is very nice, romantic. The hotel staff helped us with everything with a smile. Very pleasant hotel, we recommend it.

Our room at front of hotel was above a bar and was noisy until 1am. Also it was hot without a/c and the noise made leaving window open a problem!

Friendly, beautiful building very central. Parking was good and very close by. full of character, excellent breakfast
