Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MacaoNothing.
I Love this hotel and have stayed there many times. I have no hesitation in recommending it to people as simply the nicest hotel in Paris to stay in.

United StatesBreakfast was lovely; staff very friendly and helpful; area around the hotel had terrific restaurants. Nice area to walk around even early in the morning. Rooms had heated towel rack which proved to be very convenient for drying clothes washed in the sink. Convenient location close to the Seine and its many museums

CanadaDim lights in the bathroom especially (when are hotels going to understand that LED bulbs are the most efficient and produce the most light per watt !), lack of small repairs (light bulbs) and the key depot system (one has to return and get the room key card back at the desk each time one goes out). Doors to rooms are thin so one hears conversations and ins/outs of guests on the floor.
General atmosphere of a boutique hotel, decorated with taste and attention to detail. Great staff, professional and dedicated. Excellent location (Le Bon Marché, Saint Germain, Saint Sulpice area and Jardin du Luxembourg) and great restaurants nearby. The hotel made excellent recommendations.

United KingdomWe drove from the UK so we had the parking issues that you have in a major City. The hotel has no parking facilities so it cost €100 for 48 hours parking. Not the hotels fault but something to be aware of.
The hotel overall was clean and well presented. The rooms were more than spacious, comfortable bed and good shower/ bathroom facilities. The breakfast was continental style and more than adequate with a simple but varied choice. The hotel is located south of the river and about a 15 minute walk to the Notre Dame the closest major attraction.

United StatesSoaps and shampoos were minuscule and difficult to get out of the bottles, only one key per room that you have to hand in each time you leave the hotel.
Lovely property, friendly staff, well located. Room was very large for Paris, and the bathroom had a full stall shower and a separate tub.

United StatesThe only thing is that it is right next to an elementary school so there’s screaming children in the morning five days a week which isn’t great for jet lag.
Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were very well sized which for Paris is saying something. The beds were very comfortable and there was a bath and shower. It was very quintessential Paris and we loved our stay.

United KingdomIt would have been great to have a little bit of information in the room on some sort of card. About the hotel, check out times, any other information they would like us to know about the hotel services/facilities. This is a small thing but I always find it useful. There was a pod coffee machine but only one of each type of coffee, so my husband and I needed to choose one or the other. Not enough pods, generally (though I'm sure we could have called for more). There was also a tea 'pod' capsule which was horrible! It tasted of coffee when I tried to use it and it was undrinkable. If you're offering tea, you need a kettle! The shower wasn't very good. It was made of cheap plastic, shower over the bath (which I know is a 'thing' in lots of places in Paris). Bits kept falling off into the bath and the pressure wasn't good. Strange because the feel of the room itself was quite luxurious but this was very basic. Also, the toilet seat was broken on arrival.
Such a well appointed hotel, we loved it. We wanted somewhere a little quieter but close to lots of sights. We have been to Paris a good few times so didn't need to be super-central. The room was a decent size, I know central Paris hotel rooms are usually very small but this was fine. Plenty of mirrors (always a bug bear of mine!), super comfy beds, lots of storage. Loved the breakfast which is served at the table, fresh bread and pastries, lovely staff and fabulous surroundings. There is also a small lounge just off the breakfast room where you can have a drink in the evening. It's winter at the moment but in the summer there is a sweet terrace just off the dining area which much be lovely in summer. It's a boutique hotel, not huge - so you get a nice home-from-home with added luxury feel to your break.

FranceA little bemol: I arrived at 9 pm by taxi and on the way I called the reception to know if there was any option proposed for dinner or room service : there is no option provided by the hotel: we can just order food via apps like uber eats. When I arrived, few minutes after my call, I had few luggages, and my kid is still small (4 y old): the person behind the desk in the entrance didn't come for helping me to open the door - that was heavy - neither help for the luggages. He stay sitting behind his desk. I'm used to have a bit more of help and proactivity usually in that kind of situation.
Location is great. Our bedroom was nice, breakfast is good too with some healthy options available, staff was generally helpful and nice.

United StatesThe restaurant coffee. The in room pods we better and that is inexcusable. The conditioner was terrible and the shampoo was only fine. My hair looked bad my entire visit.
The location is excellent. The breakfast was very good, but the coffee was exceptionally bad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also very much appreciated having wash cloths. Last time we stayed here there were none. The towels are plush. Appreciate the slippers and robe.

LuxembourgThere was a schoolyard right in the neighbourhood so you can hear children shouting and playing in the morning. The hotel rooms are a bit small but that is normal for Paris. The hotel does not have a parking garage, so I would recommend the Q-park parking garage which is a few 100 metres away, I was able to leave my car there for a week for 61 €. You just have to book it in advance.
Great location and the rooms were nicely furnished, the staff were also very nice and willing to help you when needed, all in all a nice hotel!

United StatesI feel like it was a little overpriced for what was available. I just don't east a big breakfast so it was probably just wasted on me. The next morning we just went out for coffee and a pastry.
The quality and freshness was good. The service was slow for such a small venue. There was one person working the restaurant.
