Water was not the hottest during our showers and pillows were a bit firm for our preferences.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with inquiries for recommendations for dinner. Although the hotel could not provide breakfast due to renovations they were kind enough to offer croissants and pane au chocolate each morning to compensate.

Room with bathroom door less than 1 meter from bed pillow was a bit cramped even by Paris older building standards.

Super Location convenient to St. Michel, Metro, Latin Quarter, St. Germain, Ile St. Louis. VERY pleasant staff all around. Original mattress was uncomfortably past its prime, and reception/housekeeping arranged a replacement on the spot.

the noise of the st germain boulevard

The rooms were nice- i had a room with a balcony and could see the roofs of paris. the st germain boulevard is quite noisy and when you want to open the door at night you need earplugs. this was my only negative. apart from this really liked this hotel

Only thing that was a little disappointing was that we were expecting a full breakfast buffet, because they were renovating the breakfast area. But again, they still provided free croissants every morning. Also just a note, the elevator is very small and only fits 3 people, 2 comfortably. When we arrived, I rode the elevator with our suitcases, and my fiance took the stairs. This was not an issue for us at all, but just noting this as we could see it not being ideal for senior guests or guests with disabilities.

We loved staying at this hotel. Our balcony room was wonderful - the view was wonderful and there was a table and two chairs out. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our room was always cleaned and tidied when we took the "DND" sign off of our door. There were free croissants and pan au chocolat every morning, and there were truly the best I've had. Free instant coffee in the room with an electric kettle which was surprisingly good as well. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Abbatial. We stayed in a superior room with balcony. Perfect location within easy walking distance to the metro, the Seine, Latin Quarter, Le Marais and Notre Dame. Quaint hotel with Parisian charm, accommodating staff and very clean. We would highly recommend and book again.

Some of the fixings in our room were a bit worn with a little wear and tear. The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment of its breakfast room, so hopefully the bedrooms will be next for an upgrade. I would still recommend this hotel regardless.

Our stay in this spacious hotel in the centre of Saint Germain was for the most part excellent. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, while the views from our balcony were beautiful. It was great to enjoy a glass of wine while looking out at this gorgeous city. Viva La France.

We arrived very early and the person in reception was totally gracious and offered baggage storage and complimentary pastries while we waited for our room which, by luck, was available long before normal check-in time. We relaxed in the lovely tranquil lounge near the reception desk until our room was ready. The location is excellent; close to the Seine, Notre Dame and many appealing restaurants, patisseries, etc. Our room, though small, was very comfortable and well-designed.
