Just a detail- you can’t have your dog inside the property, but at least can stay at the garden next to your apartment or you can have it with you in the restaurant.

We had an attic room with a low beam at one side which my husband managed to hit his head on several times - take care!

Dinner (full menu only) and breakfast were exceptional. L'Aghjalle is situated in beautiful countryside and feels like a ranch (horser and donkeys around on airied land). The rooms are in separate buildings some distance away from the dining area. We found it to be a pleasant walk.

The place is just great! Isolated location which allows some good sleep and recovery. Staff is helpful and polite. There is also a close by restaurant managed by the same owners. Unfortunately we arrived a bit late and could only taste some cold cuts (very tasty). Breakfast was delicious with some home made specialities. Amazing sceneries!

This rental is on a working farm/ranch that is in a beautiful setting with flowers, trees and beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Only noise is that of cows mooing in the morning. We had the most amazing authentic Corsican dinner which was prepared by the Corsican owners of the property and staff, all made with farm and ranch fresh ingredients and presented in beautiful stoneware pottery. We dined overlooking farm/ranch and with beautiful mountain views.

The staff were excellent - Madame, the waiters and especially the waiter we had at breakfast -all really helpful and friendly. We had a generous breakfast outside most days although retreated inside on the last day due to the heat. The set menu in the evening was good value for Corsica at 38 euros for 4 courses. The accommodation was set apart from the restaurant/reception area across a meadow which was a lovely few minutes walk (we were lucky with the weather). It was a beautiful spot with views of mountains in the distance with fruit trees and flowers around the building. There was sense of peace and calm and we would definitely go back.

It could have been nice to have a little place to cut some bread, make a salad etc. And also a little fridge. We were very surprised, that it's allowed to smoke in the restaurant for dinner. People are sitting in a tent, but it's like sitting indoor. We asked for a table inside in the house, but then we sat close to the kitchen without the lovely music and the view of the mountains. We wouldn't have had dinner there, if we knew it's allowed to smoke. And around half of the guests were smoking, so it was quite a heavy air in there!

The location is fantastic! It is very beautifully situated and the room is really cosy. The food at the restaurant is also really good, and so is the service. They are very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is good. It's coffee, orange juice, bread, butter, marmelade, croissant, a chocolate croissant and a lovely yoghurt. But we must say, that we missed cheese and maybe some fruits or vegetables.

The location was just exceptional! It reminded me of being on safari in southern Africa, so peaceful and tranquil. The views far reaching to the mountains, the bird calls and the lovely short walk from the sleeping quarters to the breakfast & restaurant terrace. We didn't want to leave, just perfect to de-stress! The breakfast just delicious too!

Everything about this venue exceeded expectations. My wife and I stayed for a few nights on our honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with the location and setting. We also dined there for dinner both nights and the food was incredible and unique! Neither of us speak French but we were still able to manage just fine, and everyone there was very friendly.

All was perfect, the welcoming of the owner very helpful, nice room , site and breakfast. Be aware , no wifi but internet works. Nothing to complain Ps. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Monday our arrival day. So we missed the positive reviewed dinner , but the owner made a reservation for us in a nice restaurant nearby, not the same but.. :( Due to the super windy/rainy day we could not explore the area by hiking.

The check in was not clear as you have to check in at the restaurant and we were not made aware of this. A notice on the restaurant door saying check in here for the rooms at 5pm would have been very helpful. We had notified them we would be there at 4pm and nobody was around but don’t think our message was passed on.

There is no WiFi. Didn't bother us but for others it might.

You MUST eat at the restaurant for an evening meal to experience a truly Coriscan cuisine. Vegetables are grown onsite at the farm. The menu is very seasonal and delicious. The rooms are in an old traditional house away from the restaurant with their own private parking. There is plenty of outdoor space with seating to enjoy the view of the countryside.

The air conditioning system is really noisy. We had to turn it off because during the night it was too loud and the room got cold during the night (the month of April).

The position is just amazing, located into the deep countryside, very silent. The parking is right in front of the room, and the outdoor area is perfect for chilling out.
