How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location stayed three times now alway very clean staff very helpful polite and very cheers would definitely recommend to others and the price for the dogs was really good it’s also very quiet and lots of eating places to visit

It was very nice, there was nothing we didn't like...
It was great having a small kitchen with fridge and microwave and hob.... Spacious living room/bedroom, courtyard and gardens to sit in, Shops within a mile walk and plenty of restaurants around.. Friendly staff... Continental Bfast was ample...

Rooms are quite shabby and very much in need of a refresh. The breakfast was pretty awful. None of the pastries or bread were even remotely fresh.
Easy to find, well equipped accommodation in very attractive setting. Very easy to get to a commercial centre with restaurants.

The crappy french driver that scratched the hire car in the car park They are impatient, drive like fools. I’ve not seen a car on this trip without a dint or damage If your hiring a car get total insurance, it might seem your paying a lot out but it’s so far saved me from a huge bill!
The desk staff were very helpful we both were not well and wished to book into to our room early of which was no drama The hotel was clear and near restaurants with a short walk. I would stay they again Although I am commenting as a down point it’s not the hotels fault they were excellent

Would expect A/C in a modern building in this part of the world! Only one bath towel (small and thin) provided, with no extra in the cupboard as the receptionist pointed out.
Location and secure parking. Easy access to room and pleasant helpful English speaking staff.

Stayed here a number of times with our small dog. Always welcoming and plenty of private parking behind a locked gate. All suites have full cooking facilities, so bring your food and prepare to your own delight. Always stay here on our way to uk after travelling from Javea. Excellent English spoken and convenient for exit to toll road. 500 yards

No drinks available. Had to go to another hotel for some water! The crockery was dirty. (Extremely disappointing that something wasn't properly cleaned during covid!) Toilet flush was running.

The standard of cleaning throughout was extremely poor. The microwave was dirty, the furniture had not been cleaned, the toilet had stains, the bathroom was not clean and the bed throw had brown stains on it. We complained to reception and the entire room was immediately cleaned properly. The bed was really hard and very uncomfortable for our liking.
Complimentary secure Parking. We left our key card in the room and reception was closed from 9pm. I called the emergency number and the lady on call was extremely helpful in assisting us retrieve an emergency card from the lock box. Very quick access to the motorway.

Nothing fresh at breakfast except the coffee. You can't make coffee in the "apartment" because there's no kettle, and the hob isn't hot enough to boil water in a pan. It's a long way from Pau.
It's all very convenient, especially if you just want to stop off near the Pyrenéenne autoroute. There's a fridge in the room (although not much else).

Nothing really, it was as we expected.
Functional, good price, just needed somewhere for an over- night on our drive down to Spain. Reception staff friendly and called ahead to check our time of arrival as they closed at 8pm as it was Sunday. Secure, free parking not far from the motorway, but quiet. We didn't have breakfast as we had our own food and the room has kitchen facilities. Good shower and comfy bed. All that we needed really. Got a take out pizza from the local Dominos on arrival.
