The room was very comfortable, our dog stayed with us and we were able to take her into the garden. The breakfast was tasty but they ran out of bacon.

Breakfast was not that great. Very little choice. It was a disappointment compared to other Mercure hotels I stayed.

Hotel in general was good. Also the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.

The only issue was, despite trying everything and following the very detailed instructions, I could not get the temperature lower in my room. So I slept with the window open a crack.

Reception staff were superb - best I have seen in years - friendly, efficient and helpful. The layout of the room was really well done. LOVED the foam pillow (as pillows are always rubbish everywhere I travel). I slept really well with a comfortable mattress/pillow combination.

Was not impressed by the staff at the front desk. Poor English and not very customer friendly. The rooms were ok in size and comfort but you can somehow feel and see that this is a well used hotel. Things were all a bit used and not hygienic in comparison with other hotels I stayed in last few days.

The bedroom was spacious with a decent sized and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also nice & roomy. The staff were all very courteous & helpful. We had a particularly helpful member of staff at dinner, who was able to assist us with our choice, since I have a wheat allergy.

The pool was out of service, even though the weather was pretty warm during our stay (over 20 degrees Celsius). The staff explained that the pool stays closed all year long, except for the summer.

Hotel was excellent. We stayed one day to wait for our flight so this location (half way from the City of Lyon into the airport) was very convenient. The room and bathroom were really nice and breakfast was good. The hotel also has a small gym which gives you enough equipment for a work-out in a shor-term stay as we have. The free parking was also important for us and there were absolutely no issues with us parking and keeping our car there.

I asked the receptionist to be woken up at 04:30, no one called, I went down to the reception where I thought there was a receptionist, while I was waiting for the taxi, I left my luggage in the lobby, and I went out to smoke, the doors being blocked from the outside I could not re-enter the hotel to retrieve my luggage and the taxihe arrived and tried to help me but no one was there. After 20-30 minutes I continued to knock on the window for someone to come and open to retrieve the luggage, I risked losing the plane, in the end the receptionist woke up and unlocked entrance door,

Apparently the AC unit broke the day before so they said the room might be a bit warmer than expected. I'd have expected some kind of discount given the inconvenience, but wasnt a big deal either.

Breakfast was horrible. Most plates empty. No staff in view, and that was at 8:30 so normal breakfast time. After 10 minutes we just left.
