We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOn one occasion in the restaurant (where I had lunch) there was a manager on duty who was really rude. She argued with me, told me I was wrong. In short, no concept of customer service. She lets she hotel down. The rest of the staff are wonderful.

HungaryThe breakfast. 4 different servings on 4 mornings. On the 1st day at 7.15, nothing/no one was there had to find someone to turn on the coffee machine at least: a small bucket of croissants / another one with chocolate fill, vending machine coffee and orange juice. There were more and more things day after day, on the 4th day it was a continental breakfast, with limited selection possibilities still. (Note that the quality of the breakfast was good!)
+: Nice place/area, very kind staff, helpful and speaks English. The hotel is situated on a busy road which is not disturbing due to good sealings. o: The room is ok and mostly clean, for some countries like Germany, Norway, and Denmark this room would not pass the checks. (Still way-way better than anything I experienced in the UK :) )

SwitzerlandThe room we were given on arrival I had to complain and strongly request a room change or leave. Coming from the drain in shower was terrible stink which filled room only alleviated by opening balcony doors for 1 hour. Price offered by Hotel through Booking was FAR HiGHER than regular walk in price advertised in room and outside hotel front entrance. 88 euros instead of 126 euros paid in advance. This pricing behaviour is disgusting for booking customers. I felt and still did feel cheated. Inside the alternative room It was not as clean as one expects. walls in exotic bathroom were not clean. shower doors faulty and needed repair. Handrail on stairs in 2 different places had been pulled off not repaired or replaced safely. I truly regret choosing this hotel especially as poor value for money. I wish I had taken time to read other reviews because maybe I could have avoided being so disappointed.

I liked the premises, the scenery and the staff, very friendly. The room was nice and overlooking the sea, but just a little small; the bathroom on the other hand wasn't very appealing as it didnt appear very clean (the odor wasn't pleasant at all). There was an espresso maker, a kettle and a fridge. Parking space just by the entrance. Everything pretty much as described prior to booking. The location is top, no shortage of bistrots, caffeteria, restaurants...

The Royalmar is superbly located, it is a true pleasure that the hotel is almost waterfront, so close to the beach. Great location for cyclists, joggers, roller skaters. Also, in that area it is important that it has a car park. Although the sea view rooms overlook the busy coastal road, the balcony doors block the noise of traffic and in the evening sitting on the balcony for a nightcap is a big plus. I appreciated the hotel restaurant, the bar and the outside terrace with sea view. The staff are very pleasant and helpful
