During the night, younger people were coming in nearby bar till late and was difficult to get sleep. The windows are old style and hard to close. The host needs to let them check to make sure they close properly and without pushing hard and risking to breaks something. That would avoid some noise from outside.

The property is in very good location and could fit the 5 of us even if small. Parking place is also available and the host provided clear instruction on how to access together with a badge for accessing the parking place. keyboard based entrance was ok.

Situated near a couple of all night bars, so was quite noisy at times. But with windows closed noise was bearable.

Not very good noise control and a little cold. The front door doesn’t close without needing to slam a little and could hear the upstairs neighbors even though it seemed like they were just walking and talking normally. In fact another neighbor also complained about us making too much noise :( even though we thought we were being mindful. However Stephanie handled it with a lot of grace and understanding. Did not disturb our stay

The apartment was in a great location inside the walls of the old town and close to the Pope’s Palace. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had an updated kitchen and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of space in the living room to relax. Our host Stephanie was very friendly and our check in was easy. we really enjoyed our stay.

Its on the third floor, stairs are very narrow and steep. Not for big suitcases or people. Mattress is worn and needs to be replaced.

We didn’t like the metal framed bed which essentially was a large fixed bunk bed with very little room around the side & no shelf or bedside cabinets for personal belongings like mobile phones, also there were no facilities in the bedroom to keep any clothes & so we had to keep our suitcases in the lounge as the only other place was a few shelves & a few coat hangers by the front entrance door to the apartment where the mop & bucket & hoover was kept. It is ideal though for younger people or people who might only be staying overnight. The only other negative point for us was that there was no real oven or toaster, both were in the microwave, we tried the grill in the microwave oven but it really wasn’t the most efficient way of making toast, but the owner said toasters were a hygiene issue & would take up extra time to clean.

We had one evening of loud thumping due to a nearby party until at least 3am. The unit is in a quiet residential spot so this was a surprise. I don’t think the hosts could have addressed this easily and I would suspect it was a one-off (it was on a weeknight and the prior evening was totally quiet and peaceful.) An important note- the description states there is a bedroom. There is no door between the bedroom and living space. I would call it an alcove to better manage expectations- it is a separate space but with no door, there is still a small lack of privacy.

The staff of the property took great care to be detailed with after hours check in processes. It was so easy to find and check in. The staff also allowed us to store luggage onsite between destinations which was incredibly kind. The location was incredible. The unit was clean and in good working order. We would gladly stay here again.

I was traveling from the US and did not have phone service. The back and forth thru emails to communicate for required paperwork was difficult and the host was unavailable at the date I arrived. Keys were not in the box as needed and if I was not traveling with a friend with service, I would not have been able to get into the apartment. Also, the apartment had 3 beds available but I had to pay extra for sheets?!

The apartment was very nice and very clean. Great location. The check in was changed to fit our arrival time which was very nice.

It was very small, which I kind of expected from the listing, but there are a few points worth noting... The bed is on the floor – no legs or divan base. The roof slopes on one side of the bed – so not great for the taller people among us. Also the room (chambre) is on the third floor up three flights of increasingly steep and narrow stairs. Everything is very compact, which works OK, and makes it a budget option in the lovely city of Avignon – but it’s worth people being aware.

Good location (between the Pont and Palais as it says in the title). The room had most things you would need, and the compact bathroom was very nice. We met Stephanie (the owner) a couple of times, and she was helpful and delightful. (She also sent several messages between booking and arriving, which among other things made it very clear that we'd booked the "room" not the "apartment" - we weren't confused, but apparently others have been.) Excellent patisserie (La Tropézienne) with lovely croissants and sandwiches a few streets away in rue St-Agricole.
