Only issue we had is that access to the apartment was hampered due to roadworks on the street so it made the external look quite dusty. Also the apartment is right over a Kebab shop so initial impression given did not match the interior modern decor & confort. We would still rate Sebastian’s apartment a 10.

The property is located right next to the Old Port so a superb base to see La Rochelle from. The facilities weee top notch and the bed and bed linen were so comfortable . Overall an excellent base and would book again .

The views out the windows were of the building so there wasn’t a lot of light. Assistant to the owner did not speak English.

Suggestion: perhaps some pamphlets/streetmap of La Rochelle in apartment for first time visitors.

Excellent location in the heart of the very historical Old Port - close to all amenities and restaurants. The small solar powered electric ferry between both sides of the harbour is a delight - also the Musee des Automates is worth visiting. Really enjoyed our holiday break.

The main mode of transport around the city is by bike. Bike storage at the apartment would have been helpful, although there are plenty of places the bikes can be left safely overnight.

Sebastian was an excellent host who met us at the property on arrival. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring La Rochelle.

We had an issue with the lack of parking. We had to use a car park 8 minutes walk away which cost us £50 for the four day stay and meant two journeys to move our luggage. This I feel is a failing on the part of booking.com who categorised this property as having parking.

If first impressions are important to you then be prepared for a slightly unimpressive approach. The inside is worth it.

This apartment is located right around the corner from La Rochelle old harbour. It is light and spacious and well equipped and the host was very helpful.

Really modern design, lots of space, clean, plenty of supplies of everything, very friendly owner / operator, very quiet, not many stairs, and so close to the old port (1 minute walk).

Absence of toaster, which is a shame particularly for breakfast in the morning. Some simple things are missing in the kitchen: oven gloves, an extra tea towel, a toaster, lids, an additional handle for more than one saucepan. The microwave is far too high, therefore, it is rather difficult and even unsafe to remove hot dishes (particularly in the absence of oven gloves!). The wardrobe space is too small, with 6 hangers only for 2 people for a week! The pillows are too large and too soft.

The location is excellent, in the historical center, between the old port and the 'Grosse Horloge'. It cannot be better! The apartment is very quiet, which is a real asset in such a busy environment particularly at night! The style and quality of the furnishings is good. Very comfortable bedding. More than enough space for 2 people. Very effective shutters, which is important for people who like to sleep in the dark. Clean and hygienic.

Located between 2 restaurants, not a welcoming entrance which was poorly lit. The apartment lists having a washing machine but this is not the case. Not important to us as we were there for 2 nights.

The apartments are located between 2 Kebab shops, so some smells from the front travels through the building & is lingering all the time (but no noise), also when opening the various windows. We would still stay here again.

3 min. walk into the old town, and even a few parking spaces around. Beautifully decorated, modern & chic apartments (we rented 2) with all facilities including a small dishwasher, 1 1/2 staircases up to the rear of the building The place is also quiet. Super friendly and helpful owner who understands/speaks a bit of English. Would stay in this beautiful property again.

Everything was great, nothing that we didn't like.

The apartment was beautiful and in an amazing location. Every little detail had been thought of. Julie was incredibly helpful before and during our stay. We'd love to return one day.

The location is great with all of the amenities close by. The host met us and whilst we did not speak French we were able to understand. Could not fault Sebastian as he was very helpful in showing us the apartment.
