How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Absolutely loved this Hotel. It is fitted out so beautifully with so many lovely touches. It is right in the thick of Paris Saint Germain yet surprisingly quiet. I didn’t eat breakfast here because I wanted to visit the local cafes for breakfast of which there are so many to choose from.

The AC in the room didn't cool enough so it go a bit warm at night.
Sanjay (the hotels Clef d'Or Concierge) and his restaurant recommendations! WOW WOW WOW! AND they were all walking distance from the hotel!

the elevators were broken down one morning but Sanjay came to our room and help me down the stairs because of my disability.
the staff was outstanding and the location was amazing, the room was very comfortable, very clean and well organized! The dinner recommendations were perfect Brassiere Lipp and our favorite Bistro Henri’ - thank you “Red”

Location was great. We could walk around and visit the cafes, restaurants and enjoy the long summer evenings. Louvre was a short walk way, which was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if I was in Paris again.

There was no view from the room we got (2nd floor). Every additional charge is very expensive (mini bar, chips, mini water bottles that were free only for the first night, room service)
Location- awesome! close to many bars, restaurants, bakeries. Close to the main attractions. Staff - very nice! helpful and welcoming! Room - relatively on a main road but still quite and intimate. Privided robes, slippers, was very clean. Relatively large!

strangely got a message after checkout that we’ve used the mini bar, and the card will be charged, when we didn’t use it at all. however, they took our word for it and didn’t charge us at the end.

The location of the hotel is in the center of the most beautiful side of Paris. The room we took is great for couples.

They charge for a simple coffee in the lobby. If you wanted a beer in the lobby before going out not possible. Much can be done here..

the only qualm was that opposite our room was a rather untidy looking street, not a fantastic view and was close to a busy road. I’m sure other rooms looked out on better pastures.

Pillows were a little hard and flat. Lots of construction going on around the area - noisy early in the mornings. Because of all the restaurants nearby, people were out partying, even during the week, until 3 in the morning.
Location is fabulous. Lots of shops, amazing restaurants, patisseries nearby. Easy to walk to all the attractions. The staff were very friendly and eager to help with directions and suggestions. The rooms were very clean, bigger than I thought they would be. Lots of little extras in the room including shoe horn, sewing kit, nail files, slippers, etc. The mattress was very comfortable and the room/bathroom was very clean and modern. Very close to Luxembourg Garden and Palace which is a beautiful place to walk around, sit if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the beauty of Paris.

A small and cozy hotel located in the heart of St. Germain the room was at the third floor, the room is small but does not give a feeling of small We originally booked a larger room, but it was on the ground floor, we asked to change, even though the hotel was fully booked Sanjay made every effort and arranged for us a room on top floor It is worth mentioning Sanjay who is the chief concierge who will do everything for you In conclusion, a successful hotel

I didn’t like the shower as it leaked when you opened the door and there were no hooks near the shower to hang towels. I think the shower head should have been closer to the wall and not in the middle next to the door. I also found the room too dark. It needed a man light on the ceiling.
Great location, very clean hotel and extremely friendly and helpful staff.
