The wifi was only available in the communal area of the Auberge.

The breakfast was superb :) the staff was friendly and readily assisted with booking of passes to get to the téléphérique. They also were very helpful with the local bus and explained free use was available for pass holders.

If you want to come here, you need to understand that this is a hostel level with all the shortcomings, but the price per night and discounts on ski passes partially compensate for the inconvenience. No Wi-Fi in the room, inconvenient to climb to the upper bed, no towels, shared toilet and shower on the floor. Thin and uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast is very poor.

Good location surrounded by mountains, near a bus stop to Chamonix. Nice staff. Big discount on ski pass.

Bathroom. You have to click on shower button to make water run, so you actually just have to always click there as running time is too short.

The hostel was up to my standards, though I wish there had been a cheaper way to secure my luggage than using the 1 euro per use luggage lockers. The bathrooms were also rather dingy. However, you are getting what you're paying for so the price of the stay and the lift pass discount made this slight discomforts well worth enduring.

I went for a late season ski trip in Chamonix. The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering any and all questions I had and the price of the stay with the breakfast included was unbeatable. As is its location just up the hill from a stop on one of the main buses. The atmosphere was also lovely. I would stay here again!

Bathrooms and showers were so spartan. All of the buttons you had to press continuously to keep running the water. That's pretty damn uncomfortable.

I loved my stay here! The staff were happy to help, and the ski lift passes were such great value. Free breakfast was nice too. Very stunning hostel just out of the city centre, easily accessible by bus.

- Only one power socket per room but there are USB charging ports next to each bed. - Wifi not available in the rooms. - Have to continually press a button to keep the showers going and they were luke warm downstairs. - Occasionally there was a bit of a wait for reception/rentals if it was busy.

- Great value ski lift pass deal (allowed access to all of the Mont Blanc Natural Resort). - Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. - Can rent basic skis and helmets from the hostel which was really convenient and a good price. - Decent breakfast for a hostel - including a coffee/drinks dispenser and croissants. - Very close to a bus stop, bus runs every half and hour and gets you to a number of the ski fields and town, also is free with your ski pass. Note that the bus doesn’t run later in the evenings but is only about a 25min walk. - Microwave, fridge and some utensils provided if you want to do your own food. - Rooms were basic but clean and also had basins.

Rooms are quite small and can be quite cramped (especially in the rooms for 4). Not all rooms are equipped with the same things. Some rooms had hanging space, while other did not. There is also no full length mirror anywhere to be seen.

Super value for money. Accommodation is really close to the bus stop! Rooms have sufficient heating, and the meals prepared were simple but extremely filling for what they were worth. I especially enjoyed having so many discounts from staying here!!
