The best view from the window! The climbing was so worthwhile when I arrived at my room. And nice location to facilitate climbing up the hill. Btw, the family dinner provided was good and cheap.

The space between the two beds was quite narrow; even at my height (165cm), sitting comfortably on the bed wouldn’t be an option. The kitchen proved to be on the smaller side.

The standout aspect of the property was undoubtedly the staff; their kindness, accommodation, and helpfulness truly made the stay memorable. Additionally, the sheets were clean, and the mattress provided a comfortable night's rest. Moreover, the onsite food options were both affordable and highly recommended.

In a lovely area of Lyon and close to nice restaurants, within walking distance of the city centre. View from terrace amazing and staff all lovely. Clean and quality bed linen also.

The shower on the second floor leaked and also there was no hand soap. I would have liked to have more tourist advice or tips.

The showers are quite small if you're curvy, and there's no shower head, just this nozzle attached to the wall. The common room has tables if you need to work but the placement of the sockets is quite uncomfortable. It makes sense to sit near the bar area, where you can charge your laptop while sitting at the table

The view is just magnificent! It's worth climbing that crazy hill lol Everyone from the staff is lovely and always ready to help. Loved having curtains for privacy. There are dinners at a very good price.

Showers.

Showers were still in 1940's style. A hole in a small shower head shooting water out. Very uncomfortable. That's the only complaint I have. Staff were great. Wonderful location and view of the city. Good breakfast for the money you pay. Peaceful and clean.

Sink in the room, sewer smell all around, mouldy shower.

The location is great. Just a quick walk up on a hill from the Vieux Lyon district, and another short walk further to the Fourvière. The view is captivating any time during the day. The curtains on the bed. Fresh bedding every other day. Stable WiFi. 2 pints of really fine blonde draft beer for 8 € in place.

Shower and toilet are connected in one small room. Theres no shower head. Three level bunk bed. Crazy expensive. Be ready to hike a hill to go there (you can also take a funicular)

Only two toilets and showers on my floor, the toilets and showers are in the same cubicle so you can't use a toilet if someone is showering. But this wasn't much of an issue when I was there as it wasn't overly busy.

Good location with amazing views over the city. Lovely dorm with lockers and comfy beds with curtains for privacy.

Walking back to the hostel when it was dark. I'm courageous but it's a little eerie.

It's a lovely relaxed hostel. I thought the showers and rooms were clean and wholesome ..and I'm darned hygienic. I didn't like the walk down to the cafes...as it was extremely hot during my stay...but it was well worth it. Lovely local bars, restaurants. Ice cream parlours compared to elsewhere in Lyon. Great ambiance. I was more than satisfied.

The showers resemble the ones at a camping. They spray the water way too strongly and it shuts off after 20 seconds, so you constantly have to push the button. And there often wasn't hot water either.

The location was great, on top of a hill with amazing views. The climb can be a bit much if you are carrying luggage, so I would recommend getting the funicular. Within walking distance of the roman theaters and Notre Dame de Fourviere, and a 15 min walk to the metro station. There is a little terrace, with great ambience at night. They also have a small kitchen with basic things.
