No social activities organised. The beds do not have curtains and some beds do not have a shelf or a direct PowerPoint to charge your phone. No air conditioning either

The rooms were very spacious with high ceilings. The bathrooms were very clean and so was the kitchen and locker storage area. The cafe and bar attached to the hostel were also very nice.

It was really hot, so we had to sleep with the windows open and there was a lot of noise coming from the street. There was also a lot of noise coming from the other rooms

- Only two toilets in the bathroom for quite a lot of people to share - Room was stuffy and hot, only ceiling fans to circulate air and they were quite loud - Creaky floors in room - No privacy curtain on bed - Kitchen could have done with more hobs

- Excellent location just a short walk away from the central area and right by the river - The cafe area downstairs was lovely and comfortable - Staff were very friendly - Showers were good with lots of space in them - Everywhere war clean - Large chest lockers in room (need your own padlock) - Bed was pretty comfortable

They didn’t have air-conditioned which means you need to open the window during the night. Because of that, I had full of mosquito bites that bothered me all the time. Also, most travelers are with friends and they're talking, and laughing at night even after 10 pm with the light on. Maybe need some rules for that. That makes it impossible to sleep also with the noise from the street. Even in the morning, there is a very loud noise in the street that may wake up you. They didn't have curtains for the beds. If we had curtains it’s more comfortable to sleep when the others doing something with the lights on. Omg with the big suitcase stairs weren't comfortable at all. There was an elevator just wondering why we can not use that. For work purposes especially you need to get up early I don't recommend this place at least during summer maybe better in winter.

Bathroom facilities weren’t amazing and there were not enough cubicles for how many women are staying on each floor. Overall beds could do with curtains, little to no privacy if you’re on the bottom bunk but had no fears for my safety so that’s ok

For a first time hostel goer couldn’t have had a better experience, and made some lovely friends, lots of fellow solo travellers in Lyon as it is a passing through point and is a really youthful city. Would recommend for sure if you stayed in hostels before or are travelling as a group. It’s super nice and clean, breakfast was fun and not too expensive for a buffet, I got to make some pancakes

The fact that the beds didn't have curtains, and others seeing you sleeping is eerie. I wish they covered the beds with something. Also unlike some hostels, this one doesn't have lockers, but you can purchase a lock for 4 euros or something from the reception.

It was really close to the Hôtel de Ville and to the metro station. Never had any difficulties with getting to places. When I arrived I was welcomed with an amazing staff. Even though I talked in French all of them had amazing English levels. In the rooms when you close the windows you don't hear the street noises which is a huge bonus because my room was looking at a street.

The floor in the room (Rm 12, to be specific). It's just too old and makes a lot of annoying noise every time guests walk in and out, especially at night when people sleep.

Generally, everything was fine. They charge you for towels and padlocks so bring your own. The rooms and bathrooms could be better ventilated.

Convenient location, nice common room and building. The bathrooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. Most of the staff is friendly. Breakfast is good although, the options are limited and it's the same every day. At least the coffee was good.
