Not clean enough, rooms require some maintenance, air-condition was not operating well despite of several attempt to new degree or fan speed and location was not a good one for families but good for youngsters. This is of course was not a surprise.

Spacious, scure and easy parking, staff, room itself was comfortable and spacious enough, quite, breakfast was really good for this amount of money.

I went with a dog and paid extra “dog tax”, presumably for cleaning: the room smelled ok when we arrived but my dog could instantly tell that enough enzyme hadn’t been used. I’d taken puppy pads, which he is trained to, he’s house trained too, and I took him out for regular walks round the neighbourhood, but he still had a couple of moments where he felt obliged to mark and I had to clean up. This shouldn’t have been necessary, if he hadn’t had “clues” it wouldn’t have happened. He wasn’t allowed in the breakfast area but I didn’t feel I could leave him alone in the room. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work (no cold), but fortunately it wasn’t unbearably hot for our stay.

Situated on a pleasant side street, with gated parking (€8 per day, reserve in advance, limited). Close to Grand Palais, and in the district, but a bit of a hike into the town centre. Metro station (Grand Palais, line 1) not too far away. Friendly locals. Food shops and restaurants locally, but poor choice. Good breakfast, in in-house dining room. (Frozen) pizza available at other times. Basic rooms, no fuss.

First room we were in absolutely tiny, and aircon had one setting - v. Warm ! However super helpful staff moved us to a cooler larger room. Pictures aren’t massively representative here - these rooms are Small, but that is what you get for the price.

Nice quiet area of town, super helpful staff. Well presented and adequate hotel breakfast. Cheap really !

The screen of the TV in our room was damaged - blue lines across the screen. The location is not great as regards restaurants in the area, especially at the weekend. There were a few restaurants but some seemed permanently closed and others closed at the weekends. The city centre is 30 min walk away.
