Our second stay at Bel’Alpe & we were glad we came back ! Warm comfortable hotel with lovely breakfast & the very friendly & helpful Cedric ensuring our every need was met. Great location too.

Francoise and Cedric are perfect hosts and always on hand to make your stay as seemless as possible. On hand to give advice and help with ski hire and showering after a late checkout. Easy walk to Pleney lift and town centre for restaurants and bars.

This hotel is a gem. Warm, cosy and so welcoming- all the staff here are an absolute asset. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choices and the communal bar area is a lovely space to relax. The rooms are spotless and serviced every day. The location is great, in a quiet location and a minute’s walk to restaurants, shops etc and around a 5 minute walk to either of the 2 gondolas serving Morzine and Avoriaz. We will definitely book again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic for the ski lifts and also for the restaurants and bars. The staff are really great, nothing is too much trouble.

This is a personal opinion but I thought some of the decor in the communal areas was a little old fashioned and could do with a refresh but nonetheless it was very comfortable.

I usually go for 4/5* hotels but this was a game changer for me. Bel’alpe had none of the rigidity of a higher grade hotel, it was not over-packed with self-important people, it was chilled and overall a very pleasant environment. The hotel did not even charge us for early check in and late check out, which, again a 4/5* hotel would immediately see as an opportunity for extra revenue. Bel’alpe was extremely refreshing, the staff were a lovely team and the facilities somehow not over-crowded despite the hotel being quite busy. Myself and my two adult children were mostly in the locker room on our own getting our skis on and returning at the end of the day and I had the sauna to myself each time I used it.

It was half term so we expected resort to be busy but huge volumes of people which resulted in a lot of queueing at lifts.

Bel aloe was amazing. Cedric and Francois were amazing, friendly and extremely welcoming.

Excellent hotel for our daughters first ski trip. Cedric was a great host. Super helpful with our delayed arrival and a great experience throughout the stay. Really good breakfast, and comfortable bar / lounge. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Accommodated a member of the parties dietary restriction sensitively and thoughtfully. We had a family room which was a good size. Rooms really clean and fresh decor. Beds comfy.

There was nothing we didn't like

Warm, friendly and professional welcome by Francoise and Cedric. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean with excellently provisioned rooms, bar area, games rooms, boot room and sauna. Approx 5 minute walk to the Pleney ski gondola

Everything was so great, that the only thing we would like is to have more rooms, to extend our stay. Also, we would prefer if dinner was served too at the hotel.

The room was very clean, cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was great variery of food. The staff was very friendly and willing to help and make our stay a memorable experience. The sauna was great and relaxing after a whole day of skiing. The location of the hotel was ideal for going to the lifts and going out for walks in the Morzine.

You really can't fault this place at all. Location was spot on, the way they look after you is brillaint. Value for money. Its a 10 from all of us. Special mention to Cedric. As soon as you arrive, nothing is an issue. Great hotel and a great find, will recommend this place to all my friends.

I had an accident and due to the steep steps and icy road from the property I wasn’t able to leave the property.
