Top quality everything. A lovely place that makes you feel like it's your home. Of course, what makes this place so exceptional is Victoria with her bright character and soft humor. Always accommodating to everyone's needs. Terrific breakfast, all that you need. You never leave this place hungry. I miss this place already. What a thrill to have this family as your neighbor. Highly recommend.

Victoria was very friendly and helpful. The garden was attractive and peaceful. A good stop over place and Domfront, which is in close driving distance is one of the most impressive towns in the area with wonderful views

We were given the warmest of welcomes . It has a lovely friendly atmosphere. We arrived soaking wet and cold from cycling but were warm dry and restored in a huge cosy sitting room with a roaring fire. Breakfast was superb . The best poached egg ever .

The Wi-Fi in the room on the top floor where we stayed had an off day whilst we were there but 4G was available so no real problem.

Situated in a quiet location outside Domfront it is an ideal base for exploring the Lower Normandy countryside. The owners are a British couple who energetically ensure that all their guests requests are catered for wherever possible. It’s an old house that Napoleon gave to one of his generals and has been lovingly restored retaining some original features and with a lovely garden. Continental breakfast is available together with a choice of eggs and if you book 48 hours in advance like we did the owner will cook you a lovely dinner and provide wine.

Maybe we are getting old ... but my wife and I both had trouble getting out of the bath, which was very slippery. Some 'grab handles' would have been useful.

Nothing really. If we want to be very nitty gritty - a little seat at the front of the house would be nice to have a small breakfast in the mornings.

Loved the cottage because of the privacy and having your own home away from home but the benefits of booking breakfast or dinners when needed. Richard and Victoria are very kind and want to make you feel comfortable and at home.

A delightful gem, tucked away in a secluded location. A unique french heritage property in which the period interior just drained any stress away. The hosts have this lovely balance of meeting every timely need you may have, with preserving your own space. A delightful memory.
