How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This is at best a 3 star hotel. Not having a refrigerator (even if empty) in the room at 4 stars is not something I have ever seen at 4 stars. The access in the parking is not suited to a lower car (small ground clearance). The room is cramped and it needs a renovation.
The location is decent, across a park and relatively colse (10min walk) to some points of interest (cathedral). The lobby is nice.

Nothing. All great!
Modern hotel with restaurant and bar. Has lifts to upper floors and also parking outside which was free due to weekend. Breakfast was great with good choice and staff super helpful. Room nice with USB plugs and lovely shower. All modern and clean. Comfortable bed with 2 pillows each.

Some smell to the room. Cleaning could be improved. Not sufficient parking space despite trying to book it ahead of time.

On Sundays they don’t open the restaurant. It would be nice for lunch or dinner time.
Very classy and charming. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was ok. Just think the price it was a bit higher for what they offered.

The shower needs a deep cleaning; I could see some stains on the shower pan. Also the bathroom door had a piece missing from it.
The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The surrounding area is very quite and there is plenty of overnight street parking if you have a car (it's free between 18h-9h).

The parking is in an underground car park and is small and very tight. I had emailed ahead and told the hotel that my husband is a blue badge holder and they said they do not have disability parking.and warned us that the parking was difficult. We had no choice but to book a space at €20 a night. We had stayed there before and there had been a disabled space immediately outside the entrance. This has no gone and the road is marked as a bus stop. That evening we noticed that several cars were parked in this bus area, free of charge and they were not displayed a blue badge. We felt that the hotel staff should have told us that there are no buses due that evening and suggested we park there.
It’s clean and comfortable and quite near to the attractions in Perpignan.

There were no toiletries supplied in the bathroom!
The location of the hotel is great and the onsite parking very convenient and secure. We stayed in a 5th floor suite which provided us with a small balcony and a lively view over the old town. The Nespresso coffee machine and a supply of water and juices was a welcome addition.

We could have done with more hanging space and shelves for our clothes, not enough place to put our suitcases.
The decor, welcoming staff at the reception ,quietness of our room overlooking a courtyard, choice of teas in the bedroom and free bottles of water renewed daily. private parking. Free use of coffee/tea machines in the dining area. Good breakfast. Good location.

If you have a car the paraking/garage is hard to get in and out of.
Good location close to the old town. Clean comfortable and very quiet room. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant and breakfast.
