Room decoration lacks a bit of substance (simple furniture only covered with marble, plinths a bit weary and toilets not closing properly, lacks of intimacy in that part). Decoration lacked the extra mile (wilted roses in the restaurant, lounge chair was wobbly)

Small details make a difference and some small details are not up to 5 star standard in this hotel , eg there are no towel holders in bathroom next to the shower, we asked receptionist for a headache pill and they send us to a pharmacy, there is no proper hotel bar , the Italian restaurant is restaurant, bar, breakfast room in one .. and breakfast is for sure not 5 star standard

Great location, friendly staff, wonderful spa with a good length swimming pool. Have a really nice restaurant and bar. Ideal for both work and leisure. Highly recommended.

I would expect a little bit more flexible Spa hours(needed to book in advance and can be used only 1 hour). swimming pool and relaxation areas could be bigger. The extra payments: I was called few times to pay in advance the massages we booked. Then, we were asked for another payment guarantee in the check in. I would expect smoother payment process in a 5 star hotel.

Situation of the hotel is right in the heart of the city. The river side of the room view is perfect. Confortable room and nice decoration details of ‘le petit prince’ in the room. The grand salon has a great artwork. Friendly staff in the reception and in the Spa; super massage.

We were going to visit Annecy by train one day. We asked the reception whether there is a strike on that day. They said no. There was and we couldn't go. They should have known better.

I didn't like the layout of the bathroom at all. In fact, there is no bathroom, there are two glass doors, one for the toilet, the other for the shower. Impossible to turn on the light of the toilet without lighting the room (annoying if you are not alone in the room). There is no place to hang wet towels or bathing suits when you come from the spa. Everything else was fine but this bathroom layout is not worthy of a 5 star hotel.

Was not very clean. On 2 out of the 3 days, the cups and spoons in the room to make tea/coffee were dirty. Pillows not very comfortable.

The Spa was great (don't get me wrong) but during weekends was extremly busy so we were trying to avoid it during those days, I suppose people from outside can pay and enjoy the amenities of it... Not sure. On another note, one night (around 8pm on a Wednesday) we went to the Spa and we found a young couple kinda doing dirty things in there which we reported to reception. The guy downstairs should be more aware!

We stay in one of the suites which size was actually very good, nice views from the window to the canal. Great staff, highliting the guy at the door (which I don't remmber his name) who recommended us many hidden places to visit. Room service is a little bit overprice but great quality. Love the golden details all around the room, location was fantastic so we walked all around the city without needing to take any transport.
