The hotel was closed when we arrived .it didn't open until 5.30 . Limited times when reception was open .we were not told about that before booking .I would have preferred to know .

Night entrance could be a bit more sheltered - it's a coastal area and it tends to rain strongly, adding a small roof wouldn't hurt.

Breakfast was good. Location is not so good as there is nowhere to get a meal locally, and no way of making a drink in the room, or getting one from within the hotel.

I have a food allergy and all I could eat was a yogurt and a glass of juice. The guy on reception adopted the "tuff luck your in France" attitude. And offered no help or alternatives.

The room was lovely as was the lady on reception when we arrived.

spotless bathroom with plenty of hot water. Room bright and fresh lovely clean comfortable bed & bedding. continental breakfast was refilled when needed with fresh WARM pastries. Nice touch to have a microwave in the room with supermarket across the road!

Everything was really good

The room was clean and bed was very comfy. The location amazing, only few minutes drive from the port. Breakfast nice too. Would highly recommend.

I was refused service, it said on Booking.com that we would have till 21:00 to check in, I had been driving for 16 hours when I got this extremely rude lady on the phone telling me that I would have till 20:00 to get there as the reception would close other wise. Well in the end had to find another hotel late at night, tired, after 16 hour drive and had to pay twice the price, by the way no refund, my advice is DO NOT STAY HERE, go to an ibis hotel or sumthing helse as brit Hotel will refuse service even after you pay.

The place has no elevator, and we have a family member with mobility issues. There was a horrific smell of damp and cigarettes all over the whole place. It was absolutely toxic smelling. The shower was filthy. The staff were incredibly rude. My children were shouted at by a cleaner for talking in an absolutely natural tone of voice while walking in the hallway at 2 pm because "other guests were sleeping". They were literally shouted at for existing whilst under the age of 10 years old. We did not feel safe, there were strange men roaming the halls, and smoking in the hallways. It was absolute chaos. One step up from a homeless shelter. We only stayed because we had an emergency and would have had to sleep in our car otherwise. Please only visit if it is your last resort because there are surely better places to stay.

Once inside the room it was cleanish and warm. The beds were comfortable, and it was reasonably quiet once inside. There was a refrigerator and television. There is parking around the corner from the front door.

staff attitude. Granted, we arrived early. But the hotel was CLOSED until 5:30. I thought the check-in time was a guide. It was set in stone. “we are closed. come back at 5:30”.

comfy mattress. clean room. the Japanese restaurant next door was fabulous. nothing to do with hotel, just the same building. breakfast was ok. typical french fare.
