Breakfast was awful. No hot food, stale bread, tiny croissants, unspreadable butter, orange juice that was thinned to no taste. The worst breakfast we've had.

The room was excellent: comfortable beds, good shower and quiet. Ground floor with easy access. The secure access to the car park was excellent as we had many items in our car as we were moving back from Spain.

Lovely large room with a kitchenette. Brilliant that they accept all size dogs to stay as we were travelling with our German Shepherd dog. Lovely location near the beach and so much history around the area.

Could do with a tidy up in rooms. A little lick of paint here and there. And bathroom scrubbed a little better in corners. Could do with more Pillows on beds as very thin and tired feeling bedding.

Perfect location and lovely friendly staff. Everything you could need in a room, comfortable beds, plenty of direct access to green space to walk dog.

My only criticism was the kitchen area.The utensils are kept in high cupboards above the sink area which I could reach as I am tall,but my mum had no hope of reaching anything as she is only 5ft tall.

Booked at the last minute for an overnight stop to Calais with my mum and 2 dogs. Lovely big comfortable bed,with a tv,bath and shower with lots of hot water and a garden area to enjoy the sunshine in. Plenty of parking available and close to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful .

Do not eat in the restaurant behind the hotel. The menu was rubbish, the food was cold,the service was non existant and it was expensive. This restaurant has nothing to do with the hotel.

The room could do with a deep clean. It was superficially clean, but the bathroom had some mould and limescale and some corners around the room looked like it needed a little looking after. The upstairs area gets very hot (it was only 24degrees outside when we were there) and you only have a fan to cool it down.

The room consists of 'downstairs' bathroom, double bed (actually 2 singles) and to our surprise (as this wasn't listed) a small kitchenette with plenty of kitchen tools, plates, cutlery, etc, and an 'upstairs' loft room with 3 single beds. The hotel is ideal for families and the kitchenette made it easier for us to prepare some food rather than have to eat in restaurants. The hotel is very near the beach. Asnelles is a quiet beach resort with few facilities, but there are a few restaurants around, a bakery around the corner and a supermarket 6 minutes walk away. We explored the D-day beaches and you are within 20 min drive of many places of interest. Definitely recommend going to Ver sur mer for the British memorial.

My only gripe would be the quality of breakfast for the price charged. It is France good croissants are expected, not cook from frozen mini ones. Non concentrated fruit juice tastes better and is healthier. Working Instructions for air conditioning were not available in room.

We had missing light bulbs, no plug for the bath and door handles falling off. It needs a little sprucing up.

The room we booked had to replace the key as wouldn’t open, came back after several change of keycards and gave us a different room. Late at night they again locked us out of the room. Room was a little tired didn’t venture up the stairs to the top bed as was told stairs just been fixed be careful. breakfast was ok, the gentleman who did t breakfast told us he had to serve us , which he did the first morning and then the second morning he told get it yourself . Instructions for access we received by email they didn’t work. The two girls at reception were really helpful.
