How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

no parking area and car chargers were not available
well isolated and good quality breakfast. Because the hearing in our room was broken we got an other room and as compensation we had breakfast for free. very much appreciated!

Room wasn't cleaned well and I had to clean the table after the cleaner just made the bed and emptied the bin! If you pay the same price each night, the cleaning should be as if it were a new customer 👍
Room was good size, bed and bathroom excellent. Tea was replenished each day

the room could. be a tiny bit bigger, include a safe and the bath tube had some mould at the bottom section of the separation that prevents water from flooding the room when you shower. however nothing serious!
Location is Great, 200 meters from the mall and the centre Pompidou. also walking into the old town is quite fast, 20-30 min. the hotel is clean and personal was really friendly, with a good level of English

Option to at least drop off luggage at front of hotel as parking was across the road and down the street a little way, so if you have alot of luggage then not ideal.
Location was good, near shopping centre, 15 min walk to centre of town. Staff friendly & breakfast had a good selection.

Great experience overall, they let us check in slightly early as the room was ready, the hotel also provides late check-out. Super convenient. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom, all needs catered for! Amazing hassle-free stay, right next to train station.

There was just a misunderstanding with the payment and the deposit which would have been avoided if I would have been informed of the deposit retention beforehand and the staff would have cross checked before I left. But still got sorted after a few days. So my advice is always check and ask for an invoices when it comes about check-ins and check-outs.
The staff helped me to keep some dairy gifts stored during my stancy. The bed was really cosy and my room was quiet and the windows were Wide with blackout curtains, so I could have all the sunlight in the morning and the Dark at bedtime.

The sound isolation could be better.
Friendly reception, clean hotel and room, decent bed, wonderful shower, located right next to the train station with easy access to the city center. Will book again when returning to Metz!

Parking was on the street across from the hotel and access to the front of the hotel, by care was confusing, to say the least. Not a huge deal for a 1-night stay, but would have been more of an issue if we had been staying longer and had to use the municipal parking garages nearby.
Nice hotel located immediately next to the main train station and a relatively short walk to the centre of the city. Room was reasonably spacious and nice and clean. Breakfast was quite nice.

The decor in the hotel has seen better days. Carpets are very warn in places and the decor is quite stark in the corridors.
A quirky hotel in a good location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Literally yards from the station. Bed was comfortable, bathroom spotless.

There is some noice early in the morning.
Breakfast could be better in my opinion. No whole wheat bread available, when we had breakfast.

Hotel looks tired, no access by car (to drop off luggage), need to carry luggage across a busy street from the public parking garage to the entrance, bed very uncomfortable.

As a mother travelling with 3 kids, we managed to get a nice, spacious room for the 4 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Despite being close to the station, it wasn't noisy. We had 2 peaceful nights.

When arriving we couldn‘t drive kn front of the hotel because nobody heard the bell. We finally made it ringing the bell of police municipale.

Excellent location. Car parking was easy and very reasonably priced and it was within easy walking distance of the old town and places to eat. We found it a very interesting city to explore. The hotel is modern, quiet, comfortable, clean and an excellent place to stay and break the journey south!
