No food. No bar. I believe that, in their concept, there should be a refrigerated display with ready cooked meals that you can heat in a microwave. But it was not there. (maybe to come later). Price of the room is extortionate, but ... this is Lyon Eurexpo !

Wonderful location for Eurexpo. Quiet (the local airport has no traffic). Very new development with latest technology and modern style. Very serviceable staff. Never waited for anything. Classic breakfast but good quality and fresh products, and reasonably priced. We got taxis to come there to pick us up in less that 4 minutes every time.

Food choices - way to limited

Smart new hotel - Front o9f house staff were especially good and went out of there way to be efficient and pleasant and that goes a long way. Food options however need improving . Most were of reasonable quality but such a lack of choice needs amending if the restaurant is going to work and bring you the required extra margins.

I was asked for a €140 damage deposit,which hadn't been made clear at time of booking with Booking.com. I must have looked exceptionally rough to the receptionist that day, as a colleague had stayed there only a fortnight previously and never been asked for said deposit. At checkout I was assured that the deposit would be back in my account within 24 hours. I had to phone and remind them after 48hrs but it was then released to my account immediately. Very strange practice and not one I've previously come across in my many numerous hotel stays in France.

This is a newly opened hotel with a slant towards high tech. Rooms are spacious,clean and fully loaded. Lighting can be controlled by your phone, once you've scanned a QR code on the telly you'll be able to connect your Netflix account etc. You can call the lift via phone and even order snacks and drinks.These then get delivered by a R2D2 clone to your room. Staff friendly and helpful and you can order various meal options as you would expect from a Campanile.

On the other hand we got a room for the handicaped, when we didn't request it. The AC was very bad because the room wasn't airy. We had mosquitos in our room and we had to kill them. The wireless charging cable from the table was broken. The green emergancy sign over the door, should be outside the room. I couldn't connect to the chromecast at the tv.

The location was good, it was easy to access and the breakfast was very tasty!

We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. We were given a room with disabled access. This was maybe because of the size to accommodate a sofa bed (and there was still not space to move easily around). The room had a wetroom. There was no restaurant facility at the hotel for an evening meal and considering the location this would be an improvement.

The hotel was new and clean and close to the motorway to continue our journey.

The room was small and very sparsely furnished for the price- Lyon seems a costly place.There were only four captive coat hangars,and no hooks except for two INSIDE the shower!Apart from the shower having a door,bathroom facilities were minimal. There is only one restaurant (Courtepaille) within walking distance.

Room had a good firm bed and aircon. Window opened fully and the curtains were opaque.Lighting was quite good,and there were adequate writing facilities.The shower had a door, and did not flood the room. Breakfast included fresh orange juice,good croissants and was generally of a high standard. On this, my second visit,I discovered that there are two lifts.The staff were very helpful with transport information.The hotel is at the airport- easy level walk.

The room was sparsely furnished and equipped, considering the price is at the upper end of the “ budget” range.No fridge ,no safe.The bathroom was quite bleak,with a useless shallow basin and only a shower.Only one bath towel and one small towel were provided for a double room. There is no evening restaurant,and the staff did not say there was anywhere within walking distance.The airport restaurant was fully booked for the evening by 1300.We were fortunate to discover quite a good “ family” restaurant ,the Courtepaille, within walking (major road crossings) distance.

I was sent a message that my credit card is invalid for the advance payment (no other hotel during the trip had any problems with it). As I changed the card to another, it was also deemed invalid by the hotel. I didn't get any response from them if my reservation is still valid for the day before arrival - quite annoying travelling with the family and I'd have it cancelled if I had the option. Upon arrival (and already prepared to look for another place to stay), it turned out the reservation is still in place, yet they managed to charge my "invalid" credit card twice. As of today I haven't heard back from them, I have filed fraud with my bank and suggest anyone wishing for a stressful trip without double payment for the stress to choose other places to stay at.

Nice try to be high-tech (though every tech feature failed somehow).

I arrived almost midnight, room floor full of hair, bed sheet full of hair, bathroom so dirty as well. Breakfast is so simple and nothing much able to choose from there.

The woman at the reception was extremely friendly and helpfull. The room was clean, new and modern. With your phone you can turn the lights of and use the airco. Everything you need was available for breakfast
