Checking in late after traffic delays,we were tired and hungry. The staff seemed disinterested and went through the motions adequately only. No enthusiastic help with finding somewhere to eat as restaurant was now closed due to our late arrival after the aforementioned delays. He was busy chatting to other people at the bar while checking our details etc.

Convenient location. Reasonable price for a nights stay as a stop on a long journey.

I have used Campaniles for a number of years. They are normally a safe bet. This one could do with the bedrooms and bathrooms being updated now. It’s all getting a bit old. The walkway and steps outside are grotty, it would make a huge difference if they had been cleaned and maintained. Not convinced my room was cleaned particularly thoroughly due to finding a toenail clipping and a leaf in the bathroom. Cleaners quality checks need carrying out.

Truly... nothing. Maybe, it could be good to have a minibar inside the room. Except this, nothing more. What they could improve ? I don't know.

Night and Day staff is excellent. The night staff permit me to park my car in the video surveillance area for more security. The breakfast is amazing with a large choice of cereals, charcuteries, cheeses, fruits and yoghurt. I had a cooler with frozen packs and stuff inside. They put it on the fridge and freezer. So I bring back my stuff without cutting the chain of cold (thanks guys). Mattress was excellent.

Our first visit!

This was our second visit, the first a few days before, was awful because the bed was knackered. That was room 11...and we were promised room 14 and that was a new mattress that was fine!

Awful bed, felt like you were on a massive incline...dipped from both sides into middle and creaked like an old galleon from the battle of Trafalgar!

The rooms have been refurbished but are still a bit grubby in places, particularly the bathroom. Could do with a good scrub with some bleach.

Everything was fine!

Excellent location very close to Sortie 6 of the A71. Easy to find. Our room was clean and comfortable. This Campanile is set in a quiet location, almost village-like, not in the usual industrial zones, and has a pleasant garden in which to enjoy drinks or food, with shade from trees if you need it - we arrived on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was closed Sunday evening but we'd brought some food of our own. I believe there were places to eat a short car journey away. Very helpful staff on reception. We didn't have time for breakfast but it looked like a good selection with some hot food too.

1. I booked a double room, and we were given a twin. 2. I requested that we book a table in the restaurant, and I received a message to say this will be dealt with on checking in. But when we checked in, we were told the restaurant is always closed on a Sunday. There is no mention of this in the hotel description. OK, so there's a Buffalo grill nearby, but this is no comparison with your restaurants, which are usually very good. Quite disappointed with this. 3. The bathroom door was so swollen it could not be closed. (Room 010)

Excellent location just off the autoroute. Always clean, comfortable, friendly reception, good breakfast. The tea making facilities are always welcome!
