No family room available for us so stayed in two of the cabin type rooms. Not the best views but for us it was a break in the journey- we arrived in the dark and left in the dark!

Close to the motor way - great place for a stop for the night. Food in the hotel was good and the kids - small and big - like the desert buffet!

It cost us around £77 per room, which for the standard of accommodation (which is fairly basic), and with breakfast at £14 p/p on top, made it expensive. It’s basically a motel. Probably expensive due to half term. The worst thing was that our room smelled of smoke, despite smoking being prohibited in the rooms. I’ve found this issue with a few French motel-type places.

Near the motorway. Free parking and a bar. Basically, convenient for a stop off on our long road trip. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked pretty decent.

Weird personnel at the reception. Mushrooms in the bathroom. Blocking money for the double amount of the room cost.

I was worried it might not be warm enough on such a cold night but if anything the room was too warm and the aircon was not easy to adjust.

very warm welcome and friendly staff both at check in and check out. Very pleased to see that dogs are welcome in the restaurant as well as the rooms - if I'd known this before we would have had dinner there too - food in Companile is always good but we don't always book for dinner or breakfast as the dog is not always welcome in the restaurant and can't be left alone in the room and it was too cold to leave in the car.

Very clean room. Excellent bathroom, asked and given a room with a bath. Kettle in room with some packets of coffee/tea. Plenty of parking spaces.

Room was a little tired around the edges; interior window frame could do with a clean, bathroom edges and shower head the same, a bit old and dirty. Paper cups for hot drinks in room are not very practical. Paper cups in bathroom should be sealed for hygiene.

Good location en route, generally clean room with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Good selection at breakfast and a restaurant on site for dinner if required. Black out shutters enable better sleep.

We arrived later than expected and had to ring the buzzer. Let in the gates immediately, given 2 card keys and they were happy to do the paperwork etc in the morning. Great breakfast with lots of choice Big car park

I was traveling with someone in a wheelchair and the wheelchair couldn't fit through the bathroom door.

Good location close to the motorway. We had a dog with us and there was a green space right outside the door which was perfect for a quick late night and morning walk. The room was basic but clean and comfortable!

Room small - little space round the bed and we were glad we are so tidy and compact with our packing.

Comfy bed which is the most important thing. Fantastic buffet available in the evening - all you could eat starters and all you could eat desserts, with loads of fresh fruit, water melon slices and loads of pastries, tarts etc. I had the start buffet and it was fabulous. Air con very efficient and it was very hot so grateful for that. Room very clean, bathroom good.

There was no security staff or cctv visible at the back of the block although all was fine.

Our first experience of a Campanile. Didn’t realize it was a motel. Doors seem quite secure. Powerful Aircon so a good place to stay when temperatures are high. A step up from Ibis Budget - there is a proper bathroom with space for toiletries and large mirror. This one had a hairdryer. The kettle and tea /coffee was nice to have.

The bedrooms are small but fine for an overnight stay!

The beds were very comfortable and the choice of breakfast was very good! Plus they had air conditioning which was great because it was hot when we were staying!
