The breakfast was very disappointing this time. Whilst we understand that a self-serve buffet isn’t possible at the moment, the rolls were not fresh (or they didn’t seem to be, being very hard) and the croissant didn’t feel that fresh either. No offer of a second cup of tea or coffee. Felt 10€ each was steep for what we got.

The room was immaculately clean -last year we stayed here and the sheets smelt quite ‘beddy’ which we put in our review. This year - no beddy smell! Great! The team here are really obliging especially in these difficult restricted times. Food always good and very reasonable in the evening.

Fantastic stop off on our journey back to UK . Clean, really comfortable beds and it was lovely and quiet too. Great location... retail park with restaurants can't comment on restaurant at the hotel as didn't have breakfast or an evening meal. Great stay and would stay again. Thank you 😊

There is nothing comes to mind to improve on, we were very happy with our stay.

Our room was fresh, immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were happy, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their smiles at reception was very welcoming. The restaurant area was clean, fresh and pleasing, we had vegetarian Pizza and it was cooked to perfection. The breakfast selection was great, everything you could want for a great start to your journey. We would be more than happy to stay at Campanile Chalon-sur-Saone again.

You can see from the photo that the junior bed is partly under the writing desk and James up against the two singles. The larger three bedded rooms were all booked. Someone made a mistake. We were not left on the street late at night by the hotel but who was responsible for booking us into a full up hotel.

Noisy neighbourgs!

Two stars is too much, the walls are not thicker that cigarette paper, I enjoy the sexual activities of my room neighbour. The bed was much too soft, and the parking is without security. Beside this the rate given on the site was ttractif, and the final price is farr higher, when you add the breackfast and the local taxes.

The entree and dessert were fine the main course was awful - steak gauche, an egg and rosti potato- no vegetables at all. Menu changed after we ordered to faux fillet for the same price. Other choices were fish with risotto and pizza 😒

The service and quality of food in the restuarant for dinner. Limited hot food options. We did not eat our food as it was not prepared properly. In fact it was awful. The staff were not interested in the fact we left almost all of the food. We did not complain as it was obvious the staff did not care about customer satisfaction.

The location was ok. The breakfast was ok nothing special no hot food was served just a cold buffet. The room had all of the necessary requirements.

This was our second stay as part our return journey to the South of France. Our first stay was spoiled by chinese people in the adjacent room who made disturbing noise the entire night. On this our second stay after being assured we should have a quiet evening this time, we were once again disturbed and prevented from sleeping by a minibus full of eastern european men shouting laughing from 11pm to around 2am. They again started this behaviour at 6am for over an hour before, to our relief, they departed. We are most unlikely to use this hotel again.

Proximity to the autoroute and on this visit a good large room on the ground floor.

Toilet seat loose, so you had to balance on it. Window catch not available so you could not open the window safely. We had requested a lower level room because my wife had a damaged ankle so she could not walk easily, yet when we arrived the Receptionists was extremely unhelpful, and gave us a 1st level room. No dining on Sunday night, and the breakfast on the Monday, was poor to say the least, something I have never encountered in Campanille hotels, specially when you are paying 12.50€, per person.

The cleanliness of the room was poor. The cleanliness of the breakfast jars was appalling. The cleanliness of everything was poor. The whole place needs a renewal. We will not be using this hotel anymore. There was no WIFI and it could not be repaired. The restaurant was not open on Sunday
