Beautiful historical buildings, art and artifacts collections. The host was welcoming, The room looks like it's been renovated not too long ago and furnished with warmth and style. We felt at home sitting around a beautifully served delicious dinner in an historical room. It was the best b&b we have ever been to and would love to visit again.

The chateau is very authentic & the rooms are nice, exactly as the photos. Whilst the host Maria did not speak any English (French & Italian only) we got by. Breakfast is included, relatively simple (croissants and coffee/orange juice) however pleasant. Had read the reviews of additional charges, in particular the evening meal being expensive and limited, we chose not to eat dinner at the chateau for this reason. You will definitely need a car if staying at this property as it is quite remote

A stay here presents an opportunity to join a lovely, musical family. We enjoyed a glass of local wine in the garden, followed by a dinner of prawns and scallops with tagliatelle. After dinner we joined the family for a concert in the salon.

The food was a disappointment. Breakfast very basic and table d'hote very over priced. €40 for a small Gambas and scallop pasta (entree size) followed by small very goats cheese and dry bread followed by small crème caramel. For the same price in Bourges you can get a fantastic 5 course meal in a Michelin listed restaurant. Food at this guest house appears to be for convenience only and is not a culinary experience. Pool would be nicer if they mowed the lawn around the edge and there is a fair bit of road noise but the tranquility of the setting filters this out. Some of the lovely downstairs rooms featured on the website are areas that appear to be for owners private use only so a little misleading.

Beautiful place to stay. Room was lovely and huge, finished to a high standard with a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary.

Everything is perfect.

We met the friendly host Maria and JP when we checked in. Maria offered us chocolate and showed us each room of the maison. We were liked doing treasure-hunt in the maison. We were warmhearted by our stay because each room was done by JP with his passion and profession on painting and sculpture. We were impressed by the room size and the design of the room. I can tell the host treated each room like their own bedroom. They spent time to decorate and provide a comfortable living pleasure to the guest. The bed was super comfortable, can easily beat with 5 star hotel standard. The bedroom is very good size for a couple. The bathroom is extremely big with 2 proper basins. The shower area make us feel like we were in an Italian/Roman shower. We have a wonderful and delicious home cook dinner provided by Maria. Maria is gifted in cooking and she cooks local French meal which we will never forget. The breakfast was well presented in every morning during our stay. Maria would ask us if we wanted something extra for breakfast. We loved her pan fried sunshine eggs. The quality is premium. Can tell the freshness from the farm. Maria likes cooking so she has a lot of nice kitchenwares especially the glasswares. The maison is a like an art museum where full of paintings and decorations. We looked it very much. Wish we could stay a week and slowly enjoy the scenery around the courtyard. We will definitely come back to stay. God bless Maria and JP.

The room and surroundings were absolutely superb. A wonderful meal was prepared for just the two of us the evening we arrived - just be sure to let the host know of any allergies or preferences in advance - and we were served a bottle of wine outside in the garden, again just the two of us. Such friendly, personal service!
