What a treat, sadly we had only booked one night but we will return to enjoy the excellent facilities that this wonderful hotel offers. A lovely location with amazing facilities, very quiet superb spa, a lovely bar & excellent eating options.

Bathroom was not working in the room, the shower overflowed in the room and we had to change room. The other room was not as great but it was the only option.

Staff is very kind and . Location was good, big parking and impressive building.

Very slow service at breakfast but we were charged half price for all four of us for the one cooked breakfast, so full marks for customer service and satisfaction.

Helpful staff, lovely room, excellent swimming pool. Good meal.

The location was great for Hennessy but a little out of the way for restaurants. On the last day we saw a hotel car, so we can only presume that the hotel offers lifts to and from the main hub of the town… it would have been beneficial if we’d been informed of this. The rooftop bar is quirky but pretty uncomfortable!

The spa was lovely, very relaxing.

Stunning hotel in beautiful grounds. Huge rooms with the most comfortable bed. Fantastic restaurant with delicious food. All the staff were friendly & so polite, you could tell how proud they were if this wonderful hotel. We didn’t want to leave.

No streaming in TV (there's Youtube which says "blocked", there are HDMI/USB ports but they're, of course - blocked), double-bed is actually a merged twin, i.e. you have a "hole" in the middle. Maybe it's our room specifically, but the shower without any door/cover - is a design disaster. If I knew how bad it is - I would consider not reserving such a room at all. This must be fixed.

Unless you like Cognac, not too much to do in Cognac....

We always stay in 5 star hotels, this holiday trip we visited 3 different hotels. But only this hotel can be called truly 5 star, the other more like 3 or 4 as every detail is perfect.

Great pool and spa. Huge modern bedroom, bed soo comfortable. Brasserie superb. Place ultra clean. service exemplary very close to centre but in large grounds. Bar and music both top notch. We booked to stay again immediately, best hotel we’ve stayed in.

Absolutely nothing!

The room was light and airy and very spacious. I have a mobility problem and the hotel provided a disabled room and the offer of a wheelchair. The entire staff could not have been more helpful and anxious for my welfare. The Michelin star restaurant was also fantastic. My wife and I are regular holiday makers and we have never stayed in a better hotel.

My only criticism is the wine menu is a little expensive considering it’s made on their doorstep. €55 for the cheapest bottle is not unreasonable but I guess this is where they make their money

We stayed 2 nights here and it was exceptional. We flew into Bordeaux and hired a car, it was about 1:30 min drive to the hotel. We booked the basic room and it was lovely. Newly built and decorated room that was spacious. The food is excellent. There are 2 restaurants, a brasserie and a more formal restaurant that claims to have a Michelin star. We did the formal restaurant first and had such a lovely meal. We opted for a four/five course dinner with paired wines which was very reasonable cost considering the high standard of food. The brasserie was also of a high standard. The spa is great. New facilities throughout with a large pool and jacuzzi. The rooftop bar was lovely and a great place to have a pre/post dinner drink with views over Cognac and a lovely sunset. Staff were excellent too. I would recommend to anyone for a couple of nights stay.

Our experience was all positive, just some staff in restaurant could have been somewhat more friendly.

Really nice hotel! Rooms were really spacious, nicely decorated, very practical with toilet separate from bathroom, good airco, amazing shower and super clean! A good choice of hotel as a 1 night stop on our way to Spain!
