Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandChalet is very well located! Close to the ski lift and to the city center with plenty of shops and restaurants and the brilliant "Ginette Cocktail Bar " are next to your door. The chalet is very well equipped with all you need to feel like home, quality furniture & decoration with luxurious design and wood material through the 3 floors of the chalet. The view is just stunning, facing the mountain we could see the fireworks and the " Descente aux Flambeaux" at night time from our window or to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning on the terrace looking at the early birds skiing on the slopes. Audrey the manager was the cherry on the cake, with an impeccable service for the breakfast every morning, she facilitated us with the ski gear that we could drop to a shop near the ski lift, gave us great advices for activities and availability of massage treatments in the " spa/ pool" of the chalet which made all the family relaxed after the ski. Having been in a lot of different ski places I can guarantee you that this place is a real gem! Will definitely come back!

Great location in a quiet area of the town but only a short walk to restaurants. Comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely view of the town and mountains from the balcony. Great breakfast with a choice of fresh pastries and bread brought to the apartment each morning. Great coffee machine. It was also great to have private use of pool and sauna on three days. Being able to park the car in a garage was appreciated too.

Chalet le 1700 is a beautiful chalet that makes your stay in Les deux Alps perfect. the decor inside is fantastic and the facilities on offer are everything you would require and more! the kitchen and dining facilities are a great alternative to eating out, especially after a hard days skiing when you would prefer to stay in and have an early night! The Chalet is ideally located within the town and a 5 minute walk to the nearest lift. the property is located on the top of a hill but it’s not an issue and provides a beautiful viewpoint across Les deux. breakfast from Audrey the host is 10/10 and fuels you up for the day ahead.

United KingdomWalk up the hill on the way home after a days skiing was a killer. I would have happily paid a little more for a shuttle service up the hill. I saw some of these around but couldn't find details.
The pastries and bread in the morning where lovely as well as the stocked fridge on arrival. Pool/relaxation area was very nice and a great place for the kids to unwind, I would love to have had more access to this. Audrey was super helpful through out our stay. Chalet was very well kitted out and we stayed in and cooked most of our meals. Plenty of room for a family of four to stretch out and get some peace and quiet if needed. Shower really hot and powerful. Great view from the balcony over the town/valley.

United KingdomIf we have to find anything, I’d say the location is not great if you have mobility issues as the walk from the town is a bit steep (it wasn’t a problem for us but to bear in mind if you do have issues).
A beautiful, contemporary and comfortable chalet. Audrey, the hostess, is very helpful and always at hand to help with anything. The chalet has a magnificent view over the mountains and the furnishing is just delightful.

United KingdomWe stayed in the Muzelle part of the Chalet and it was fantastic. The view is amazing from the living area and the whole chalet is modern and cosy. Audrey was happy to help with anything we needed, collecting our ski passes, recommending restaurants and bringing fresh pastries, bread, jams & juices every morning. The spa is a great way to end the day and our share was 3 days of the week which worked out great. Our friends also enjoyed a massage from Audrey who offers this professional service as well.

We had a fantastic week in Chalet le 1700. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, very spacious and everything is new and well thought out. The wellness area with pool and sauna is a wonderful supplement. And the view over the city and the mountains is magnificent! Audrey is the sweetest host you could imagine - she is incredibly helpful and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast-delivery each morning also works out just fine. We would highly recommend this apartment and would love to return anytime.

United KingdomNothing to do with the Chalet but if you have young children and want to send them to ski school avoid ESF. They were rude and refused to allow our children into group lessons and we were pushed into 1:1 lessons. (They left our eldest in their Chalet with a non English speaker and told her, her lesson was over and she had to wait for us. We found her colouring!) They said they couldn't help the children if they cried. Next year we are going to try them at European Ski school as they are English speaking. We hope this will be a more positive experience.
Audrey couldn't do enough to help us. She was brilliant. She booked our resturants, helped with car hire and researched taxi companies. She is also available for babysitting services. The Chalet was beautiful, well kept and fully stocked. We had one pastry and French stick every day for breakfast. She provided us with Jams, butter, fruit juice, coffee and milk. She even went out of the way to go to the shop and get us oat milk. It was such an amazing experience we have booked to return next year.

Spacious, chic and super-comfortable. Very well equipped. Breakfast bread and pastries delivered to your door every morning. Ski lockers in L2A (at Cote Brune) really make it a great choice for skiiers.

PolandThere were some things that we didn't like: 1. At the end we were charged 40 eur for couple of buttons that were ripped from one of overlays, probably by kids. In my opinion it's waaaay to much for such a small problem. To be honest Audrey asked if that is ok for me and I said yes, I was just too suprised so maybe there was a room for negotiation 2. The overall cleanliness could be better, ocasional hair can be found here and there. It wasn't dirty but it should be cleaner in such high standard place 3. The heating is a bit of mystery :) in rooms it was more than ok, in bathrooms there was heated floor. But in living room it was cold at the morning until the sun came up and heated everything to more than decent temperature. There was thermostat in living room but it wasn't doing much. For plus: there is a heating stove and wood is provided by Audrey, it generates quickly quite high temperatures. 4. The breakfast a la carte is supplied by Audrey daily and is typical French: some baguette, some pastries, butter and juice in fridge. So if you expect continental, hotel quality breakfast you will be disappointed. We supplied ourselves in one of many shops in town but we had car and it was easy for us so take this into account. 5. Swimming pool is quite small but nicely done and for couple of people enough. You can use it only on certain days, which is ok because you will not bump into people from other apartments BUT they have to open it for you and they expect for you to be there @ceratin hour (probably because water has to be heated). So you can't use it whenever you want on "your"day, change plans etc. To summarize: I was quite specific about problems but they were not critical or something that you really can't live with, it's rather my point of view that the owners can use to better the experience. The overall place, town, stay and everything vas overwhelmingly positive and I'm definitely recommending it.
The place itself (chalet) is absolutely beautiful, build with natural materials, tastefully finished and decorated. View is unreal, both during day and night, you can see wonderful panorama of mountains and 2 Alpes. Inside there are 3 apartments, we were in La Muzelle which looked even better in person than on pictures. The rooms are quite small but ok except of one which is much bigger and has it's own bathroom (there are 2 bathrooms for 3 rooms), beds very comfortable, the living room is very spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary, even raclette machine and good quality coffee maker (although milk tube was missing form it, machine definitely could make latte etc because it was available in menu). There is large smart TV (no chromecast, I recommend owners to buy it :) and even premium quality speaker. Big plus for garage, zero problems with parking the car. Good place to store your ski equipment as well. The host, Audrey, was very helpful and easy to communicate with via whatsapp. Regarding ski conditions: one of the best slopes we've ever seen, perfectly prepared, beautifuly placed, easily accesible. Unreal views during good weather. You can use lifts to go to glacier, you can go lower, there are many possibilities.. Prices - as expected in French alps. Free place to ski for total beginners (of course you have to pay for trainer). During week not so many people on slopes which is a big plus as well however, probably pandemic has impacted this. Also great places to visit on foot, like Venosc, for someone who is tired of skiing. Overall really great place for winter holiday.
