Gwen went totally out of her way to help us, and the breakfast was excellent. The gardens are beautiful. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Shower is powerfull and hot. We did not use the pool, but it looked very nice. The parking is secure and large, with a locked automatic gate.

As a little downside I can mention the location on a road crossing. The road is not very busy, but you can here traffic early in the morning and sometimes at night.

The house is old with some history (and maybe even ghosts 🙂) but the rooms were very clean, furnished beautifully and we had everything we needed. The hostess was very friendly and pleasant woman, she gave us tips what is worth visiting around and she served us very good breakfast with cheese and meet and some treats I think she baked herself (in many French B&Bs, as we learned, you can’t get more than bread, butter and jam), so we consider this breakfast very generous. The place has a big lawn, where you can play table tennis, and a swimming pool (heated only by the sun) open at certain hours. You can sit in the garden with a drink and chill out. Overall pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, this being an old house, the floors do creak a little so be aware, especially if there is a room above you.

The hotel and gardens are beautiful. The host is very helpful and super friendly! Thanks for the recommendation for the wine tasting - that little place was just superb too. Breakfast was delicious and our room was great.

We had a very nice visit to the very charming "Le Moulin". It is located very conveniently between Tours and Amboise. Gwenn, the hostess, makes excellent recommendations for the things to do. The breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, fresh orange juice, great charcutterie and fresh bakery products. The refreshing pool was just right to cool down in these hot times. Next time we have to stay longer.

We had 3 of the 4 suites and one of our party reported a small shower in Montlouis but this is a very small issue compared a fantastic stay

The breakfast was delicious. Gwenn went the extra mile by booking restaurants for us and making sure we had everything we could possibly need. The shared outdoor picnic area and fridge are a lovely touch and are very helpful if you visit on a Sunday/Monday when many restaurants are closed. Gorgeous pool and secure parking. We’ll be coming back I’m sure! Thank you 😊

Everything was great - but best to reserve dinner nearby ahead of time. We waited too long and things filled up.

Beautiful garden, outdoor pool, and spacious room. Lovely hosts who had great recommendations for the area. Peaceful and serene and well located to visit many sites in the Loire. very tasteful decorations and comfortable beds! I also really enjoyed the breakfast - fresh jams, orange juice, breads, cheese.. all around a lovely weekend away!

There was nothing I didn't like but the shower was awkward to use as there was nowhere on the wall to hang the shower head which meant sitting in the bath to use it or getting your partner to hold it above you. No TV or fridge, but this was not required by me and not a problem.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food in a lovely room and beautifully served by our very friendly and knowledgeable host. Our room was large and airy with a separate wc and large bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Aso swimming pool and lovely gardens.

Comfortable room in an old atmospheric building that used to be a mill. A large and relaxing garden and last but not least a perfect breakfast provided by the very kind and helpfull owner.
