I have noticed nothing negative.

The owners are super friendly and make you feel really welcome here. The rooms are generously and practically furnished, and there is quite a lot of space. A tasty breakfast and the possibility to make coffee or tea though the day. A neat location in a forest on a hill slope just opposite the historical center of Domme, with a charming view from the windows. Each member of our family enjoyed this place, and we would be very happy to come back.

Nicole, the owner, is very friendly, has prepared EXCEPTIONAL breakfast and recommended many attractions that we went to. We really love chambre de madel as it is a real French guest house where we stayed with the owner who took care of us like we were majestic guests. The house is beautiful with 2 bedrooms for guests on the 2nd floor. It is a large house with a marvelous view of Domme. In sum, this is the PERFECT place for us when we visited Domme, La-Roque-Gageac and other nearby beautiful villages. We will certainly stay here again next time we come to this area.

Chambre de Madel was the most welcoming place we have ever stayed at, Nicole and Jean-Pierre made us feel right at home. Even though our visit was short, our stay was a highlight in our visit to France. The glorious views from the property overlooking Domme and Nicole's amazing and very delicious homemade breakfasts will be talked about in our family for years to come. The location is ideal for canoeing and sightseeing of the most spectacular villages and scenery in this area.

We feel very lucky to have chosen to stay at Chambre de Madel. Our holiday has been enhanced so much by staying in Nicole & Jean Pierre’s comfortable & tasteful home. Nicole’s breakfasts are magnifique! Utilising organic produce from local suppliers. The outside terrace and gardens are delightful and the view is to die for! We won’t forget waking up to views from our room of Domme sitting in the mist. And of course foraging for mushrooms in the woods. We have been spoiled by Nicole’s deep kindness and attentiveness.

My visit to this gorgeous home was all too brief, but I enjoyed it immensely. The property and view are simply stunning, and Nicole and her husband are so kind, welcoming and helpful. I loved the beautifully maintained terrace and garden, and the interior of the home is lovely as well. It is, admittedly, a little outlying so you definitely need a car, especially if it's hot out, which it was when I visited. But there is so much to see nearby, I only barely managed to scratch the surface, and hope be able to return again soon.

Exceptional in every way! Nicole is charming, gracious and perfect hostess and designer of this most beautiful and comfortable property. We loved this special place! The setting and view are awe inspiring yet peaceful. Nice home, everything first class and spotlessly clean. Homemade Au natural breakfast. But the real gem here is Nicole. She just couldn’t do enough for us after a long day of cross country bike riding. Got us reservations and drove us into Domme and picked us up after dinner! We loved this lady and her home, and so will you!🚴🇫🇷😆

Everything was perfect

Exceptional breakfast with homemade jams , cakes and smoothies. A lot of care in everything! Incredibly nice location with stunning views on the village. Gorgeous and very tastefully decorated house with plenty of room. Nicole is very thoughtful and makes your stay very enjoyable; she made daily itenararies for us, recommended restaurants and made reservations for dinner.

Fantastic view on the medieval town of Domme, very quiet place, exceptional breakfast cooked by the host (she even baked a cake for us, oh my god!!). I can't think of how it could have been improved

An excellent experience from start to finish. Our living area was spacious, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast absolutely delicious. 15 minute walk away from a beautiful village and its restaurants, So much to do in the local area - walking , canoeing, visiting lovely towns and castles. The hosts are very friendly, cheerful, helpful and kind. We spent 6 nights there and had a fabulous time. We would thoroughly recommend

We loved everything about this property!! The home is situated on a hillside with a stunning view over the beautiful countryside and the fortified, medieval town of Domme. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, cozy, on a separate floor from the owners, and offer wonderful amenities. Nicole is a lovely and generous host who spoiled us every day with incredibly tasty breakfasts and gave fantastic suggestions for local sightseeing, activities, and restaurants. This was so much better than a hotel stay and certainly a highlight of our two-week trip! We can't wait to come back!

If you want to feel like home in France this is the best choice. Nicole and Jean-Pierre feels like your close family. This is the best guest house experience in our life. We want to come back ASAP. Delicious Breakfast. The view from the room at Domme is so spectacular. This is like a theater, every second a new view. (I add photos). You also have entire floor with two sweet rooms and bathroom. Birds are singing in the garden of the house property, this is so calming. Near the house is a forest, what makes this place more nature and magical. Nicole also has a cat name “strawberry”. Cat is the main character in the house for sure 🤣❤️ Nicole has so many stories that are still warm my heart every day. Nicole and Jean-Pierre were so nice to us, very good people with bright souls. Nicole and Jean-Pierre made sure we were well taken care of. It is a beautiful property with a fabulous view over Domme. They gave us excellent suggestions for dinner as well as places to visit in the area. And Nicole makes an incredible and healthy breakfast.

The accommodation exceed our expectations in all aspects. Nicole and Jean Pierre are the best hosts we’ve ever met, super friendly, kind and sweet with our girls. We felt at home. The apartment is so nice! The interior is amazing, very comfortable, clean and stylish. The terrace and garden are beautiful. The view is stunning! And the breakfast super delicious! The location is super convenient, there are many nice towns close by, eg Domme, Sarlat, Vezac, etc. We didn’t do it but it’s the perfect location to go biking or canoeing.

There is absolutely nothing that I did not like

The breakfast was outstanding. I am not only talking about the great view, but also about the great hostess - and her husband. the breakfast was carefully prepared with outstanding produce from the garden. I really appreciated the smoothies we got for breakfast as well as the specialities such as the pancakes, les crepes, et le pain perdu. The whole experience was exceptional. I will definitely go back. The Hostess, Nicole, was also kind enough to suggest restaurant, to book restaurant for for us. She even hold a restaurant open for us on our first night of arrival.
