These are not things we didn't like, just considerations. There is no bar, cafe or restaurant in the village so you need to drive to eat an evening meal. Planning and booking is advisable, especially if staying on a Monday night as many places are closed. We found a charming and excellent Italian restaurant about 20 minutes drive away on evening no 1 and a simple but good value and very pleasant bar / brasserie about 25 minutes away in another direction on evening no 2.

Chambres d'Aumont is a most beautiful and comfortable place to stay. A rennovated barn set in gorgeous gardens in a very quiet village nr Amiens. The room and bathroom (with a seperate toilet) was beautifully designed and decorated. It felt like an appartment. The door opened on to a central adjoining spacious room for breakfast, and space to sit outside and enjoy the garden. There was also a pool which we didn't use due to lack of time and then rain. Continental breakfast was fresh, full of choices and plentiful. Option of boiled eggs much appreciated. Coffee very good. The room had another door directly onto the driveway which meant you could load up the car striaght from the room. If we were to return I would pay the small amount extra and pick an upstairs (first floor) room which would be away from the breakfast area. Our host was friendly and attentive, present but low key, who greeted us on arrival, set up breakfast and checked us out.

All good at the property but be aware it’s a 20-30 min drive to/from restaurant and pre booking advisable so take this into account

A warm welcome from the host. Stunning accommodation with large bed, good WiFi, very tranquil setting and great grounds with a working pool. Highly recommended 10/10

Stephanie is a very professional hostess who gives you a plenty of tips for local dining, sightseeing, shops etc. The accommodation is very serene and high class design B&B. You will be well taken care of! the beds are large and comfortable. breakfast has a nice variety of local produce and a good coffee! also the dining room is located downstairs in a very stylish setting, overlooking a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. we were very happy to spend a night there and if in the neighborhood again, we will definitely come back!

Romantic bedroom with bath. Very clean. Wonderful new swimming pool. Delicious continental breakfast. 30 - 40 minutes drive from the beautiful town of Amiens. Lovely friendly hosts. We would love to stay again. Thank you.

Everything was great!

A really really nice little Bed & Breakfast. It was a treat to rest there after a long drive. A beautiful garden or little park rather. Even a little pool to take a swim to freshen up. Everything was of great quality and style and the host was really nice, too. A great place!
