We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomSadly there was a very noisy carnival outside the room window on the day and evening of my booking. Whilst I understand that this was outwith the hotel's control, I would not have stayed here if I known this was the case, after a long day of driving. As it was a non refundable booking I had no option to stay.

Lots of small things combined made our stay here fabulous. From the most welcoming arrival, then an upgrade to a larger room to accommodate our two dogs, combined with great restaurant recommendations within the town, it certainly felt we had chosen our nights stay well. Sylvie, in our opinion, is definitely one of the best owner/managers we have had the joy of meeting and why we would return to her hotel in a heartbeat. And, there is ample free parking immediately outside the hotel!

United StatesBrighter lighting in the bedroom, bathroom, and living area would be helpful.
Maison de l'Esplanade is well located in St. Gaudens, with a terrace overlooking a valley edged by the Pyrenees. The town feels a bit run down, with many shops closed and streets that are empty, perhaps because of Covid or the general economy. The hotel itself feels like the "old" France, with tall, shuttered windows, uneven wooden floors, and somewhat dim lighting. But there's a charm to that traditional feel, and the bed and facilities are comfortable enough. The manager is friendly and accommodating, including by saving a parking spot for us right out front. The breakfast was simple but sufficient and worth the price. A good place to stay if you're in the area.

What an amazing stay! The view from our room was beautiful. The room in itself was decorated with taste. The breakfast with local products was really good. We were made feeling very welcome. A truly nice time, we loved this hotel.
