The bathroom is old and there’s mold. The walls are very thin, we could hear the neighbors phone vibrating.

The room was facing a café which was a bit noisy, and the window had to be kept closed. The cleaning staff does not understand, that a towel hanged, should not be replaced. Same with the soap used once was removed. And the refilling of the coffee worked once and the next time not.

We felt totally at home in Hotel Charlemagne. We arrived on the first day quite late (approx. 11:30pm). The staff member at reception was very kind and welcoming. It was my first visit to Paris and I felt safe, secure and comfortable at this hotel. The room was cosy, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. We walked a lot on our visit to this beautiful city, and we were always very glad to return to this lovely comfortable room each night!! The Pont de Neuilly station on Paris Metro Line 1, is very close by and takes you right into the heart of the city in minutes. We felt safe walking around the neighbourhood at night time. There are great cafés and restaurants near the hotel. The price of our stay was very competitive and more reasonable than other places we looked at that, which had inferior accommodation. I would highly recommend this hotel to people looking to book a place to stay in Paris. Thank you to all at Hotel Charlemagne.

There was absolutely nothing available for breakfast if you are gluten free.

The room was typically small for Paris with a tiny bathroom with just a shower, toilet and basin squeezed in. It is very much a basic hotel (don’t expect fluffy towels, shampoo, bottles of water, etc.) but it was spotlessly clean. It was quiet and in a great location. The staff were delightful and it was exactly what we wanted.

The rooms were very small, and one must be mindful to not hit the cabinet above the bed. Also there were beer bottles in the mini fridge but no way to open them.

It was a cozy small room sufficient for a one-night stay. Good location and friendly staff. The beIN SPORTS channel was good. I came to watch the American Super Bowl because the hotel I was staying in did not provide this channel.

Duvet was heavy and bed a bit harder than what I'm used to at home.

The hotel staff were very helpful and informative and spoke fluent English. The room with ensuite is compact but warm and clean and has everything needed for a short stay. The location was excellent being right beside the metro line.

The smell of the cleaner was very overwhelming but opening the windows helped. On one of the days even though we put up do not disturb signs the cleaner still entered the room which was weird.

The people working at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and were able to give us one of our rooms early. We also really liked the location and how close it is to the metro.

Rooms were quite small but typical of most budget city stays. A bit of noise within the hotel just with other guests moving around.

Great location, especially for the metro. Lovely and quiet. Clean and nice staff. Good value breakfast was adequate for setting us up for the day. It is a pretty looking building and a nice clean residential area.

The room window was opposite to a bar that was a bit noisy in the evening, but if you close it, you do not hear it.

The personnel of the hotel was super nice and I could accommodate before the usual check-in time. I would recommend staying in this hotel. Good restaurants are nearby and it is especially comfortable if you have a meeting in this area.

The hotel is renovating. The doorways are really old fashioned. Also the breakfast room. The rooms and bathroom are tiny. The hotel price was rather high compared to the facilities

The room was clean and renovated, The hotel is well positioned near the metro. Nice bar at the opposite of the hotel. Quiet area. Parking garage is OK and nearby. The personnel is friendly.

Nothing I jumped out, i guess some parts of the hotel could be updated but this is being worked on :)

Location was good, very near the M1 metro line so near la defense and the shopping centers etc. traveled with a friend and we found it very difficult to get back at night as the metro was closed midweek from 1:30 I think and some taxis wouldn’t take card but that is not the hotels fault at all! I guess just be mindful of this in case you do plan on going out late. Some nice restaurants and cafe in the area too. We were traveling for a match so it was handy to be near a metro and it wasn’t as crowded. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is currently being updated but I didn’t notice any extra noise. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable, bathroom was a little small but I didn’t mind as we were only away for 3 days. Overall would definitely recommend.
