The food did not reach the level of quality for such an establishment. It was not bad but we expected more from a 5 star hotel.

The small bed in a junior suite and the broken toilet top. Also the fact that the toilet doesn’t have a sink to wash hands after using it.

I loved elegance of the château and tranquility and peacefulness of the place combined with the spa and golf facilities.

We weren't told to book the restaurant in advance so when we came down for dinner they didn't have availability. Taxi wasn't available so we had to have room service which was like a microwaveable meal - steak very fatty and risotto was stodgy.

We got upgraded to junior suites which was a bonus and they were definitely worth the price. But everything else was seriously overpriced. You had to pay more to use the spa facilities for a couple of hours despite being a guest. The dinner was expensive but inedible at times which was a real shame. We didn't stay for breakfast at 22 euros per person (not including eggs or charcuterie and who knows what else!)

The hotel has a pool and they ask for 40e per person per use of pool which is unexpected. Every room in hotel if you are staying should let you use pool. Otherwise you shouldn’t advertise hotel’s pool or be specific upfront. Also chocolate store was not open although on the door was that this was working hours. The hotel called me in advance that we cannot have a dinner on Friday only as they are full although we are guests of hotel on Friday and Saturday. On arrival they said both nights we cannot have dinners in hotel as they are full. A half hour later they manage to accommodate us with Friday night spot for dinner. Breakfast is not included, meanwhile all is far to buy a breakfast, although on arrival I’ve asked if we have a breakfast. Shower had sign of wet/ mould on tiles, other than that room was good and bed very comfortable.

The staff was very arrogant and not helpful. Rooms with the small windows and bad smell.

Well... five star hotel this is not. I arrived late in the dark and the night porter came to the gate to let my car thru into the parking lot on foot. He didn't have a light and told me to park with the other cars. I was shocked as it was dark, with ancient irregular cobble stones, and he just walked back into the chateau and left me to handle my own bags, in the dark, no lights. I brought it to his attention in French that I expected at least an offer of help with my bags, especially for a 5 star hotel, he grunted at me and told me he would upgrade me so I would stay in the chateau proper and not one of the out buildings.(This was a surprise to me that my booking was not to stay in the chateau itself.) I was Hmm. He then reluctantly offered to help me with my bags to my room. To be honest I didn't feel comfortable with him helping me. The room was big but it wasn't well designed. It had indoor shutters and no curtains which left it looking unfinished. I expected better for 5 star hotel. The bedding was average. I would have expected a minibar in the room. I thought the case with costume jewelry at reception lowered the tone for a chateau... and especially for 5 star. Night Porter. He was like a character from a Marcel Panol book. No idea of service. Needs to be trained.

My first impression of the Chateau was wow. Stunning setting. Beautifully lite. The gardens are beautiful too and I was surprised to be so in the countryside on a golf course yet so close to Paris. The bathroom and the toiletries were nice and I appreciated having water in the room.

Nice room but not 5 star hotel. The spa was really nice but you have to pay more 35 euro for person
