We absolutely love staying here because the gardens and the rooms, especially the dining room, are lovely. The food in the restaurant is excellent, and all the staff are friendly and efficient. We look forward to staying on our way to Italy next year.

We enjoyed an excellent one night stay, and to our delight were upgraded to a beautiful room with a view over the lovely park. The dinner and breakfast were also very good, and the staff were charming, amusing and helpful.

Breakfast was delicious. The fruit was fresh and there was plenty of variety and the service was really fast :) The people working there were also very friendly and helpful !!! The grounds were stunning and the pool was really big and warm!!! It was also really quiet and we slept really well and the views were beautiful

Exceptional location; beautiful Château on the side of the river, very nice park / grounds. Staff, Interior, room, dining: all part of a perfect setting. A place for fond memories and a definite desire to return.

Nothing - the place is beautiful!

The location and facilities of this hotel is exceptional; so beautiful and relaxing we booked an extra night and spent a day lazing round the pool. The rooms are decorated in the traditional style and ours was a little tired … but this is reflected in the price and the beds were comfortable, everything was very clean so we have no complaints. Couldn’t recommend a stay here highly enough. If you don’t speak French be prepared… you’ll need to make an effort to ask for help, but rest assured help is there!

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at with beautiful grounds and lovely rooms. There is an excellent swimming pool and wonderful food with attentive staff. What more could you want as it is great value for money!

Rooms in the side buildings are large and confortable but decoration has aged a little bit. The location is a bit more remote than expected (just check what you want to visit in the area)

Breakfast in the winter garden followed by a little walk in the park. The restaurant is excellent and rooms are very quiet. The main building is really charming.

The chateau offered a fine dining experience, but the food wasn’t quite to the same standard as the rest of the experience.

Minor point only. It would be nice to have tea making facilities in the room - there is a well-stocked mini-bar but no way of making a hot drink.

This is an exception, great value property. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The , mainly locally produced, food in the restaurant was excellent and there was a great range of food available for the breakfast in the morning. The room was large and comfortable and the location is superb. this is definitely somewhere that we'll we visiting again.

The service in the restaurant was efficient but clinical - there was no warmth given.

I stayed in a pavilion room, which had air conditioning and was comfortable. The pool area is very pleasant and the grounds are lovely. Lots of wildlife, including an otter.
