Absolutely incredible place...beautifully kept expansive grounds with a working orange grove, multiple lovely buildings set in the French countryside. This is a completely renovated chateau with most of the original decor but with all the modern conveniences. The host, Arnaud, is very welcoming and accommodating and the breakfast and dinner are not to be believed. We booked this place not having any idea what a find it would turn out to be. Bed unbelievably comfortable, room super quiet...I could go on and on...

A very beautiful chateau with glorious rooms downstairs. The owner was very welcoming as was the woman who served our meals. The meal in the evening was exceptional and the breakfast superb.

EVERYTHING!!! From the warm welcome from Arnaud to the gorgeously appointed lounges and suites. The meals were beautifully prepared and presented and mostly importantly delicious!!! Highly recommend!

The place is magnificent, elegant and very well kept. The owner as well as all the staff made us feel comfortable and at home. The room that I stayed was in the Chateaux, fantastic view over the grounds, big bathroom and all that you need, from a small fridge, iron, to a hair dryer. The dining room and the way they set the table for dinner and breakfast were informal with an exquisite elegance touch. Food was great! Thank you Arnaud and all the staff!!

This is my first time to stay in a French chateau and yet feeling very homely. The owner is very hospitable. The breakfast and dinner are nice. The surrounding area is very calm and peaceful. It's a good stopover to rest between driving Loire Valley and Mont Saint Michel.

This is a luxurious stay without a doubt and good value, however adding on dinner and breakfast and wine it does make it a little bit pricey. But my goodness it is worth it.

This place is perfect for a bit of rest and recuperation. It is so peaceful and it is like staying with friends in a stately home. The family are so welcoming, the furnishings are lavish, the food is superb and the self service bar is relaxed and easy to use. We had a day by the superb pool, and loved the grounds. All the staff were amazing.

The price for dinner and breakfast was quite high so made the night’s stay an expensive one.

It was a great location and experience. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different.

Extra special experience Stunning chateau and grounds with loads for family’s to do wish we could have stayed longer definitely need 2 nights Arnold made us feel very welcome with his relaxed friendly style and dinner was delicious made with fresh produce . Daughter loved pool which was so quiet .

This is a family-owned chateau and you feel privileged to be invited into their home! The welcome was warm and the chateau is stunning. However, the restaurant is ‘out of this world’. The food is exceptional - dishes freshly prepared based on what is in season. We were only booked for one night and arrived just in time for dinner (due to the long trip from Bordeaux, stopping for a tour of the St Nazaire ship yard) - two nights are a minimum to take in the quiet, relaxing, exquisite surroundings and the wonderful company.

From the minute you drove up the drive, you could tell this place was special. Charming property, charming welcome. We were only there for one night but lots to do in that time from riding around the grounds, going to the lovely swimming pool, playing tennis, trampolining and a lovely dinner at the Chateau that evening.

A magical experience. Arnold made us feel like visiting friends more than hotel guests. the building is like a time capsule, we felt like we had travelled back in time to a simpler time. We were instantly relaxed and enjoyed the entire space as much as we could. Our little dog Freddie 100% agrees.

We had an unforgettable stay. We were greeted by Arno and his beautiful daughter, France, and felt right at home. The peace and tranquility of the countryside mixed with the grandeur of this beautiful Chàtteu made this a memorable holiday. The dinner was the highlight of the day, with fresh and local ingredients, beautifully presented. . We travelled to the local town for a coffee and fresh Croissant with bikes provided at no extra cost. We also ventured to the nearby town, Angers, to taste wine and visit the ancient castles. The pool at the Chatteau was very inviting as it was heated. I will definitely be back to visit this gem in the Loire Valley.

Due to historic nature it is very much an antique feel with some unusual features like a toiled in a cupboard and some of the heavy curtains felt dusty (only an issue if your asthma flares up) all to be expected with this style of chateaux
