Wonderful quiet place to stay in wine country! we enjoyed our spacious, beautiful, very comfortable room; the pool; wine in the evening on the patio overlooking the vineyard, and using the bikes to visit nearby restaurants. Couldn't have been more perfect!

It was an amazing stay. The chateau is very charming and recently renovated. It was also very stylish, clean and serene. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast served in the terrace every morning was the highlight. Finally the chateau is well situated, close to Bordeaux but also it felt you were in the countryside.

I think one light should be left on in the garden, front and one in the main lobby so it’s not pitch black when you return from dinner.

Nice and spacious. Nice chateau with small number of rooms which meant not crowded at all. Staff gives a lot of space. Everything was good. Location is not near anything, which means very quiet. Would need car to get around.

My partner and I booked a last minute getaway for after our wedding without carrying out much research on the property. I can honestly say Chateau Le Pape was impeccable, it was beautifully decorated, had wonderful scenery around, comfortable and spotlessly clean! Nicholas who was our host could not do enough for us, he was very polite, wine was always in the fridge as requested, provided advice on locations to visit and cooked the best eggs! We cycled to Haut Bailly, definitely worth the trip to understand the beauty behind the place and the engineering marvel recently constructed (winery). The owners sound like great people who really care about the area, the quality of their wine and their employees. Well done Chateau Le Pape/Haut Bailly for making our honeymoon perfect!

Chateau Le Pape is a gorgeous property surrounded by vines and a serene landscape. The interior is beautifully decorated by someone who has put such love and care into the place, and it completes the immaculate French Chateau vibes you feel when staying here. The staff who work there are incredibly kind and accommodating and we were blown away by our stay there.

Lovely chateau nestled in the vineyards. Rooms are comfortable and nicely done but smaller than expected. What really made the stay lovely was our host Elise, who went above and beyond for the duration of our stay and was even kind enough to post something back to me which I left behind.

we paid a very high rate for rooms that didn’t have a real window. moreover the breakfast was disappointing and the staff tried to charged us for eggs without warning we were served an average expensive white wine the pool was not functional

the place is beautiful, refined and very tastefully furbished the area is worth a detour
