Bed was a little soft and pillows too high - not comfortable for side sleepers

Character property in a peaceful setting. Lovely to wake up to the sound of bird song. Restaurant staff clearly take pride in their role - my waiter recommended the perfect wine and food pairing - superb!

We would have liked more lighting in the bedroom, and easier access to electric sockets for our computers. Otherwise everything was perfect.

It was a very last-minute booking owing to our grandson being ill. Great situation for us as our daughter and family live about 4kms away. The bedroom was massive, with both a bath and a shower, and 2 washbasins, a very large bed, chairs and a table, and a small fridge. What more can one ask for! We will certainly recommend to others.

We travelled long distance and we chose the hotel with the restaurant, so we do not have to look for a place to eat. But the restaurant was closed that day - no prior information. We were given a list of 3 recommended restaurant to drive to - first one we went to was not open either and second - it was the worst meal I had in my life.

We really loved the atmosphere and style of the hotel and restaurant, the gardens and grounds and the village it is situated in. The rooms were lovingly and stylishly decorated and the bed was super comfy. The staff were welcoming and friendly - we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Poor expensive breakfast Bad English of the girls on the reception and on the breakfast It looks that they are more concentrated on the restaurant than on the hotel, rooms are very nice, but service and breakfast for that price can be better

No restaurant food available (Sunday night) and nowhere close by to eat out - they did offer some room service but we didn't chose to do this - no table in the room and we didn't fancy eating sat on the edge of the bed! We left early and didn't have their breakfast

We had to wait a long time to be served at times although this did make things relaxing and leisurely. Difficult to park when we arrived as there were a lot of groups there for seminars etc.

We had a lovely large room, the Cinema room which was very comfortable. The food was very good, we had lunch and dinner here. Accomodating for our late arrival

Restaurant was closed which I was told before so no surprise - there was option for some simple menu - good price 27€ for 3 courses but man it wasn’t easy to eat 😅…. Let’s call it very French type of cooking which was impossible for daughter and not easy for me I admit. I blame myself also here but yeah - not pleasant experience

Me and daughter got super nice room ‘Dance’ really loved it. Bed / bath / shower all amazing and clean. People did their best on arrival for some English so it was much appreciated 👍

pillows in my room were not good.

Nice and stylish overall. Need to pay attention to more details to make it amazing, like the milk in the coffee try were expired and the welcome shampoo and toileteries are not very quality compare to the image of the place. Rooms are all very different you should choose to make sure you have a nice one. Good breakfast mostly continental

Very elegant and authentic modernisation of a small chateau with excellent facilities at all levels of room. attractive bars and restaurants in parkland. the staff were trained well to be both friendly and helpful.

The restaurant menu was rather exotic and pricey for our teenagers - so we ended up with a takeaway pizza sat on a wall as this was the only other option without getting in the car again
