We absolutely loved our time here. The pool was excellent, clean, and perfectly heated. The living spaces were immaculate, and the bed was so comfortable. Cathy was super welcoming and friendly. Plus, kitties and chickens to keep you company! We hope to return again :)

Fantastic quiet location. Extremely friendly and professional owners. Breakfast was plentiful and provided everything we would require. We will have no hesitation in returning, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

Katie & Gavin are lovely friendly people, welcoming and knowledgable about the local area. We would have been happy to stay longer if our schedule allowed. The room was spotless and very well equipped. Excellent value for money. Great breakfast too!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Chez Jousseaume in August 2023. Katie and Gavin are wonderful hosts, we appreciated their hospitality as well as their good recommendations for day trips to the surrounding area. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and is spacious. The swimming pool was fantastic and the property is set in a lovely large plot. No problems with car parking, nice big spaces. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here, very good value too.

La Grande Suite was fabulous. The space, decor and facilities were first rate and the bed was one of the comfiest we've ever had. The pool and grounds were beautiful and there were some lovely extra touches (coffee, tea, biscuits, gowns etc). Our 10th stay of a 6 week road trip and by far the best accommodation.

Outstanding hosts English couple Gavin & Katy are brilliant. Property is of a very high standard with every facility one could want. Nearby Jonzac is bustling small town with many activities to interest the tourist.

The bed was a little too soft for our liking - but this was the only thing we had a slight problem with.

Breakfast, location, facilities and attention to detail were all excellent. Gavin and Katie were super hosts.

The studio apartment was perfect for us.It was attractive, clean, warm and comfortable, with good quality bedlinen and towels. The kitchen area was exceptionally well equipped. We liked the rural, quiet setting. Breakfast was very good. We hope to be able to visit again for more than one night!

Very welcoming hosts, gorgeous large room with kitchen and en suite with absolutely everything that you would need. Very comfortable bed. Immaculately clean, it was a joy to stay there, only stayed one night but will hopefully be going back. Even had secure storage for my bike! Good breakfast as well.

This place really did exceed my expectations in all departments. I was travelling for work and looking for some reasonably priced accommodation whilst there. This place is excellent value for money, the room was a great size, super clean and finished to a very high standard with many modern features. The accommodation also retains many rustic features and the views over the open countryside are just stunning. Katie and Gavin were the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is filling, of high quality and is served on the terrace overlooking the pool, simply idyllic. I literally cannot fault this place, 10/10 in every department and I will most certainly return in the future!

Nothing. It is faultless. Superb as they say in France.

Everything about this place is amazing. The location the facilities and most importantly the hosts. Katie and Gavin are so lovely and helpful. They helped us a lot with information and advice. Their knowledge of the region and local produce is outstanding. We loved their local bar/restaurant the staff and food was excellent. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone. Loved the breakfast and all the personal touches. Worth every penny. If you get a chance book this place. You won’t regret it.

We only stayed one night.

Friendly and kind hosts, calm and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the fields and nature. Really good bed, spacious rooms, fabulous bath. We loves the heated pool area and fantastic breakfast served outside.
